Rafting Adventure Lao is a river navigation company recognized by the Italian Rafting Federation, engaged in accompaniment activities on rivers and streams of the Center-South in various activities, but above all in rafting.

Our teachers are experts in the sector and will guarantee all participants a safe and prudent experience in the adventure park, and before starting each activity, initial briefings will be held for all participants, in which the itinerary and the basic safety rules, offering useful advice and techniques.

The operational base of Rafting Adventure Lao is located in Papasidero, in the province of Cosenza, and is located in a green area close to the strong>Lao River. The area is equipped with reception, changing rooms, bathrooms and hot showers and is equipped with parking, barbecue and a space for camping in a tent. It is possible to organize or request, always at our base, barbecues with typical products of the area.

Rafting Adventure Lao provides all the equipment necessary to carry out the activity safely such as wetsuit, water jacket, life jacket, helmet and neoprene socks. We recommend bringing a swimsuit, a technical fabric/microfibre t-shirt for the colder months, a towel and shower equipment.

Rafting Adventure Lao Canyoning invites you to abseil with ropes along the gorges and canyons of our territory. Join us in the province of Cosenza to discover every evocative and hidden corner of beautiful Calabria, a land waiting to be explored.

Canyoning consists of an aquatic excursion that alternates walking and swimming phases. The adventure is based on jumps and slides on rocks with arrivals in natural pools. Ropes and harnesses are also used to overcome particular differences in level.

we will take off from Praia a Mare, starting from an altitude of 700 m. approximately and the flight will be carried out in tandem with a professional instructor. The duration of the flight, conditioned by thermal updrafts, varies from 15 to 30 minutes and is suitable for all levels, not involving particular risks for beginners. Our guide will explain to you before departure all the steps and things you need to know in order to live this experience in a safe and relaxed way.

The equipment, including clothing (except footwear) is provided by our center. Whoever will accompany you during the flight has a license and insurance.

We offer you different types of walks to do with us:

• Trekking in the Argentino river valley in natural environments of particular value in nature reserves.
• The oriented nature reserve. The valley, deeply incised, has an east-west trend, with altitudes ranging from 1,632 m. of Mount Palanuda at 150 m. of the valley floor and a rich flora and fauna typical of the area.
• Scalea - Orsomarso for a duration of three hours, a length of 30 km and a low level of difficulty.
• Loc. Scorpani - Orsomarso, 40 kilometers long, 5 hours long and a challenging difficulty.
