Come and take a kayaking out for a spin or learn the techiniques and tricks of the trade of kayaking at Outdoor + Active Wimbleball Kayaking. Lake Wimbleball is the ideal location for learn this activity as the lake is a sheltered inland body of water so you never have to worry about rough waters or veering too far from shore!

• BCU 1 Star (Course Duration 1 day) -  Learn basic paddle skills to move the boat in all directions. For children aged eight years plus and adults.

Outdoor + Active Wimbleball Sailing is an ideal place to come and sail or to learn! Based on Exmoor, Wimbleball is tide-free lake that offers a controlled, relaxed and fun environment. We have equipment for hire, offer official RYA training courses or you can bring your own craft to sail our lake!

We at Outdoor + Active Wimbleball Windsurfing on Exmoor, have an array of watersport activities to choose from, including windsurfing. Windsurfing is a classic watersport that all can enjoy and after receiving a bit of tuition from one of our fantastic instructors, you will have the hang out it in no time!

Wimbleball Lakeis a large inland lake with sheltered waters, providing a safe and protected environment for learning and developing your windsurfing skills. We offer official RYA training courses for all skill levels from beginner to advanced and bespoke tuition can also be offered.

We offer the following windsurf courses:
•    RYA Youth Stage 1
•    RYA Youth Stage 2
•    RYA Start Windsurfing
•    RYA Intermediate Non-planing
•    RYA Intermediate Planing

All of their instruction follows the RYA syllabus to ensure recognized and qualify tuition. They can accommodate practically any age of interested windsurfer with junior windsurfing available as well as clubs and single sex sessions.

We at Outdoor + Active Wimbleball Fishing are thrilled to welcome all levels of trout anglers for a day of fishing on our lake Wimbleball in Exmoor. Our lake is well known for its abundance of Rainbow Trout that can be up to whopping 8lb! Adventurers can come along for a day of fly fishing or head out in a boat in one of our fibreglass fishing boats (four with 4-stroke petrol outboards).

We offer the following fishing activities:

•        Flyaking! Come and fish from a Kayak bring your own or hire ours.
•        Wheelyboat for disabled anglers
•        A 'Catch and release' option is available (barbless hooks must be used).
•        Organised competitions and social events based at the fishery throughout the    year.
•        We host The South West Fishing For Life project for women recovering from breast cancer is also based at Wimbleball.

Welcome to our fabulous outdoor activity centre and climbing venue at Outdoor + Active Wimbleball Climbing. Wimbleball provides outstanding climbing training and experiences on our onsite bouldering walls!

Our climbing wall has many different features such as jamming cracks, arête climbs and as well as a traversing wall. Adults and children are both more than welcome to come along and enjoy this activity and we are a great centre for gaining the skills that will later take you onto bigger and more challenging climbs!

We are delighted to welcome individuals and groups of all sorts! Schools can enjoy a fun filled day of adventure and special events can enjoy climbing as part of the celebration!

We at Outdoor + Active Wimbleball High Ropesoffer this fantastic course for adventurers of 8 years and older, providing loads of fun and challenges for everyone who dares! We are based in a stunning outdoor environment so you will enjoy escaping to the countryside as well!

Our course was built with loads of obstacles and challenges like the Leap of Faith, Jacob´s Ladder, postman's walk and barrel run. This is an excellent activity for families, school groups and even Corporate and Teambuilding events and don´t forget that it can be teamed with one or more of our other fantastic activities.

Wimbleball Outdoor + Active Centre in Exmoor is an ideal location to learn how to be a star archer! Archery is a classic sport that is more popular than ever, especially after the London 2012 Olympic Games! Learn control, aim and improve your concentration as you aim for the bull´s eye with your bow and arrow.

Our excellent indoor and outdoor facilities are ideal for groups and individuals and we can even host an archery session for Hen and Stag dos and school exucrsions! This sport knows no boundaries and all ages and abilities will be able to join it!

This is our fabulous 'High and Dry' Hen and Stag package. This package includes 2 activities of your choice:

Come out and enjoy a lovely paddle on Exmoor at Wimbleball Outdoor + Active Centre Canoeing. Hire out one of our many Canadian Canoes for an hour or even for the whole day and enjoy paddling around our wonderful lake. With over 400 acres and wonderful natural surroundings, our venue is a fantastic place to enjoy the great outdoors from bath land and water!

If you are already a canoe owner you can come along and paddle our lake for just a small launch fee. We offer a welcoming and friendly environment where you can come along and enjoy your favourite sport on our sheltered waters.

We welcome groups of all ages! School excursions, families and groups of friends will have a delightful day out on the water!
