A good day’s fishing is just a couple of clicks away.

Based at Jacklands Fishing Lakes near Bristol, we operate across the West Country, offering you the chance to catch fish such as pike, trout, carp and sea bass in a wide range of environments. Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset and Gloucestershire are all possibilities.

The location of this 6-hour session is flexible, so we can meeet at any creek, river, lake, pond or beach in search of our quarry. We can also provide equipment, so rookie anglers and veterans are welcome.

Whether you have no idea how to even hold a fishing rod or you're an experienced angler but don’t know the area, we’ll help you find your form and read the local waters to net some fine fish.

When you book with us, you receive the tuition of a fully licensed and certified fishing instructor, so you know you’re going to get the best experience. Bring all you need for half a day in the great outdoors, payment method for a fishing permit if necessary and you’re ready.

Join us for an angling adventure in the West Country.

One of our favourite places in this charming part of England is the Jacklands Fishing Lakes in Nailsea, Somerset but there’s an almost endless number of fantastic locations that we fish at. They include the Bristol Water Reservoirs - Chew Valley, and Blagdon for example, beaches and estuaries on the North Devon coast, and any of the streams and rivers that crisscross the counties of southwest England.

This price is for a full day, 10 hours, of one-to-one fishing tuition with one of our qualified, licence-holding instructors. We give you flexibility as to the location, or locations, that we travel to.

We’re also adaptable to your level. If you require fly fishing equipment, we can supply it. If you know what you’re doing but want our expert local knowledge, no problem. Or if you want hands-on tuition and guidance, look no further.

The only things that you need to bring are the clothing, equipment and snacks that you need to spend a whole day at the water’s edge and a payment method to obtain a fishing permit where necessary.
