Orcasub

Company Overview
Orcasub is an aquatic leisure center, located on the island of Formentera. We are specialized in the world of diving, but we can also offer you spectacular boat trips around our island taking advantage of the wonderful environment in which our facilities are located.
Within diving, you can do dives, either as a baptism for that first test that you have been thinking about for a long time, or for people who already have a qualification and are trained to choose the place they want to see from a underwater perspective. You can take official courses with international certifications. Even if you don't feel like putting on all the equipment, you can simply participate in a snorkeling excursion.
As for the boat routes, they will give you the opportunity to visit marine reserves such as Cala del Moro, natural caves, or even private islands, such as Espalmador.
Through these water activities, you will get to know our beautiful island much better, and its best-kept corners.
Immerse yourself in the adventure with Orcasub!
Summary Boat Trips
Thanks to Orcasub, you can participate in a boat trip along the coast of Formentera, to see amazing natural places.
On our boat, with capacity for 15 people, we will take daily excursions, in the morning or afternoon. They are suitable for the whole family!
It is not a passive excursion, but we will stop at different coves and beaches on the island, some only accessible from the sea. We even carry a mask, fins and tube, for those who wish to practice snorkeling. Not knowing how to swim is not an excuse, because we have life jackets.
The stops that we will make during the tour are:
- Private island of Espalmador, visiting it.
- Cala del Moro Marine Reserve, where we will practice snorkeling.
- Caves. We can illuminate its interior so that you can swim inside.
- Cala Saona. After visiting its bay, we can take a dip.
And what is our boat? Well, it is an inflatable boat, with a rigid hull, whose length is 10 meters. The engine (outboard) is 250 hp.
The Orcasub boat excursion is an experience that no one should miss!

I expected something else. We did not go anywhere to snorkel and it was not as described in the ad. The truth is that I was quite disappointed. In addition, we booked in the morning and they changed it for us on the last day in the afternoon. -

It was fantastic, the only bad thing that the bad was scrambled and we could not enter the caves and the water for snorkeling was cloudy for that reason. But a very good excursion that we will repeat without a doubt. -

Magnificent walk through the coves of Formentera with crystal clear water. Everything super good, better impossible. Unforgetable experience. -

The only positive thing was the experience of the skipper Fabio, since he took us safely to port and always answered our questions with sympathy.
We asked on two occasions to delay the excursion the next day, since they gave a high probability of rain (more than 50% in AEMET) and yellow risk due to storms).
We were denied the change on those two occasions, alleging that "on the island the weather changes very quickly".
We went to the excursion and first thing in the morning well, but little by little the day was twisted until ending in a storm in which we were scared at sea, covered with our towels and the skipper Fabio weathering as he could the storm back to port.
A nightmare, as lightning struck near the boat and we were really scared.
Everything would have been avoided by delaying the tour as we requested on two occasions. -

No problem. Beautiful walk with the indicated stops, kindness at all times. Highly recommended. Management from home and thus you avoid searches when you arrive, they will contact you later. I would repeat. -

Very good experience, I would recommend it to everyone visiting Formentera, since you see things that you could not do if you did not have a boat.
The waters where they take you are impressive, you see caves, dive in schools of fish and visit the island of Espalmador. We mainly took this boat to visit this island since it cannot be accessed in any other way than by boat, you can also walk through it and you have 40 minutes at each stop.
A real pass. -

A very nice excursion, totally recommended. Very professional, just what we were looking for, touring the island without worrying or having to rent any boat.
Surely we will return next time we come to the island. -
