Mayan World Adventure we are an adventure and active tourism company that takes you to enjoy exciting experiences in the Yucatan Peninsula. Enjoy mangroves, Caribbean beaches and lagoons, away from the mass tourism of the Riviera Maya area. We take you to the authentic Mexico.
To explore nature there is nothing like doing it on a kayak route through the mangroves, riding a bicycle through the Mayan communities, snorkeling with whale sharks, diving in the state's cenotes, fishing on our coasts and many more activities.
We propose a different vacation, away from the resorts, where you can be on a beautiful beach but only for you. You will eat extremely well and you will be accompanied by local guides on the guided tours that we make to cities, archaeological sites, museums and charming towns.
We have round trip excursions to Uxmal, Ek-Balam, Costa Esmeralda, Chichén Itzá, Yokdzonot, Dzibilchaltun, Salinas and Playa Linda. We only have expeditions to carry out specific adventure activities such as diving, snorkeling, swimming with whale sharks between the months of June to September or bird watching.

Summary Scuba Diving
Mayan World Adventure we know that in Yucatán there are hundreds of cenotes and we want you to explore them by diving with the best. Cenotes are phenomena that take place in the Mayan jungle of Mexico in which underground rivers, caves and grottoes are connected to each other.
There are still many undiscovered, but there are others that are true wonders on the inside. Within our diving excursions you will find in Mayan World Adventure:
- Night Diving: We are going to explore one of the cenotes at night that has artificial lighting, not only to enjoy the caves but to feel the spirituality and mysticism contained in these places that were very important within of what the Mayan culture was.
-Diving in the cenotes for the day: We organize 2 types of tours, with 1 or 2 tanks depending on the cenotes you want to visit. In both cases we can reach a depth of up to 70 feet.
For all our diving excursions we ask you to have some prior knowledge and at least the PADI Open Water Diver Certificate with which we understand that you can accompany us on this adventure without problems.
There are still many undiscovered, but there are others that are true wonders on the inside. Within our diving excursions you will find in Mayan World Adventure:
- Night Diving: We are going to explore one of the cenotes at night that has artificial lighting, not only to enjoy the caves but to feel the spirituality and mysticism contained in these places that were very important within of what the Mayan culture was.

Many of our excursions are done with kayak as we consider it to be a fun way to access some places that cannot be reached on foot or by car. All this not to mention that the views from a lake or from the beach are different and give you a more complete panoramic view of the place.
At Mayan World Adventure we take you kayaking, for example, to the Oxwatz Natural Reserve, which is an ejidal park in which we have cenotes to practice snorkeling and paddle with the kayak, getting to know the park. We also organize excursions to Chuburna where we paddle kayaks on the beach.
The tours are led by expert guides who will give you a prior class on how to paddle and move safely on the kayaks. We will also give you safety equipment since the important thing is that you enjoy this activity.
