Magic Empordá

At Magic Empordá we carry out kayak excursions through the Boadella reservoir, tours guided by our team of instructors who will share with you their experience with the paddles. .

This Girona swamp has more than 100 navigable hectares, taking advantage of the size of the reservoir, we also carry out aquatic orientation exercises.

The options we propose are divided by age groups:

- Aimed at adults: 2-hour outings to explore the entire coastline of the swamp in boats for a single participant, doubles or for three people at the same time.

- For children: in this case we almost limit the navigation time to 1 hour, maintaining the characteristics of the activity and the different capacities of the boats but reducing the duration of the route so that it does not cause excessive wear and tear on them.

At the Darnius Yacht Club you can rest after the activity, in the restaurant we offer a tasting menu of typical food from the area.

Would you like to practice wakeboarding without leaving Girona? InMagic Empordá you can practice this sport in the magnificent Boadella reservoir, demonstrate how you move on skis without having to take any course or class.

If, on the other hand, you are looking for an introductory course that teaches you the technique of water skiing in a simple and dynamic way, our school is open from Monday to Friday in the morning and afternoon between the months of May and October where we receive students from 5 years old.

Joaquín González, an elite athlete in this discipline, is personally in charge of training you in the following way:

- First on the dock: we do not need to spend intense hours between boring theoretical concepts. We know that they are necessary but you will learn them as you go, with the materials in your hands so that you can see their shape and handling, having fun from the first moment.

- Then in the water: we get going and we attach you to the boat where, before moving on to the traditional cable that we hold on to in this discipline, we will use a fixed bar that will give you extra stability. We are so confident in your success that we guarantee that you will be able to ski from the initial lesson.

You can also spend the day at Club Náutico Darnius, which has a restaurant that serves all users of the reservoir.

At Magic Empordá we operate in the Boadella reservoir of Girona, a reservoir that was created for the purposes of energy production and that now has the most complete Yacht Club in the area.

In this location with calm waters we find the perfect place to learn to surf the surface of the water on a wake board since the absence of waves makes it easier for you to progress faster and not be afraid of losing control of the material.

You will also follow the teaching methods of Spanish runner-up Joaquín González Revuelta, with the title of Nautical Ski instructor at the national level.

This is the process we follow since you come to visit us:

- We serve adults and children, as long as they have reached the age of 5, since we believe that it is never too early to begin to internalize these types of concepts.

- We start with a theoretical class on the same dock where we see what the material is like and we focus on how to attach yourself to the rope that will be attached to the boat that is going to tow you.

- We equip you with a life jacket and put you on the board to get into the water. You will have a few tumbles at first but it's just a matter of time.
