Koa Escuela de Surf

At the Koa Surf School we also provide you with accommodation to complement the courses you do with us. You can participate if you prefer in surfcamps with everything organized exclusively for girls, mixed or aimed at minors.

Our different types of stays are also available if you are only going to spend a few days here or request the rental of material for your internship. The main idea is that you have Somo beach at hand to reach without needing a car. These are:

- Koa House: a beautiful 3-bedroom apartment in Ribamontán al Mar with its own kitchen, a living room in a common bathroom, outdoor gardens and internet connection.

- Camping with Mobil Home: the most economical and comfortable accommodation you will find. It is only 700 meters from our school and they have beds, a living room, a bathroom and a small kitchen.

And if you are already clear that you want to use them to continue your surfing program, we offer you ready-made packages. They include stays of 5 or 7 nights with 4 or 5 surf lessons, one each day, respectively. The material used for classes is available to students after class for use the rest of the day. The rates we establish for these options refer to hiring of at least 2 people.

At the Koa Surf School we have among our boards those that are specific for stand up paddle. This opens new doors for us in the practice of activities with which to explore the Cantabrian coast and the rivers that reach it.

The paddle surf courses are focused in a completely practical way and are carried out as trips through different natural areas of the area. With this we have shown that the student makes enormous progress in a very short period of time. We will suggest what you should do according to the level you have, if you have any, and the characteristics that the weather presents that day:

- Initiation tour: which runs through the Ría de Cubas taking advantage of the tranquility of waters that will not resist us.

- Medium level itinerary: we will do it at sea to reach the peculiar Santa Marina Island.

We can go out alone with the instructor, as a couple or in a group as long as we are less than 6 students. Before accessing the water we will go through the theory that we will need. Upon our return we will chat about how it went.
