Hot Stick Tarifa we are a professional kitesurfing and stand up paddle school in Tarifa, the kitesurfing capital par excellence in Spain.

Hot Stick Tarifa we have more than 10 years of experience in teaching and training students from all over the world. Our courses are semi-private or private, including everything necessary and first-generation equipment to make learning easier and easier to practice this sport.

In kitesurf we have beginner, initiation and improvement classes with 2 hours of lessons per day and classes in calm waters and in paddle surf waves with the option of taking 2 and 3-hour excursions hours.

All Hot Stick Tarifa instructors are IKO certified, teaching classes in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese in groups of a maximum of 4 students to ensure personalized attention.

In addition, at Hot Stick Tarifa we offer you the possibility of renting and supervising kitesurf and SUP equipment.

• Baptism course: For 3 hours we will teach you the basics of kitesurfing that includes presentation of the material, flying the 2 and 4 line kite and assembly.
• Kitesurfing initiation course: Lasts 2 days with 3 hours each where you will practice flying and taking off the kite, dragging it in the water and sailing on the board.
• Advanced course: It consists of 1 or 2 days starting with the waterstart and going through the techniques of upwind, sailing through and transitions.

SUP is a new trendy sport, a type of surfing originally from Hawaii. It's about paddling the coast on your board and, if you dare, avoid the rough waves, maintaining your balance with the help of the paddle.

At Hot Stick Tarifa we offer SUP courses at all levels, from beginners to experts. We even organize Paddle Surf only excursions to the most beautiful beaches in Tarifa for groups or private ones.

SUP is very easy to learn, fun and ideal for those who have never stood on a board. If you have ever practiced it, at Hot Stick Tarifa we offer you a rental service for all the equipment adapted to different levels and sizes.

We have both classes and excursions. Classes range from 1 day to 3 days with the possibility of private classes for 2 hours a day. Coastal excursions for groups more advanced in paddle surfing can be 2 or 3 hours.

Our SUP classes can be done in groups of a maximum of 4 people. In our most basic courses you will start paddling on the board, while kneeling and standing, as well as using the paddles and if you are good at it we will even catch some waves because this is the most fun part.
