Funtastic Empordà

Funtástic Empordà carries out kayak excursions through different enclaves of the Costa Brava, exciting itineraries that take you to see some of the most interesting monuments in the Mediterranean.

• Route of the Ruins of Sant Martí d'Empúries, we will leave from Riells beach heading north until we reach this archaeological site.
• Cala Montgó Route, leaving from the beach itself towards the crystal clear waters of this corner of the Costa Brava.
• Montgrí Massif Route towards the Les Cambres cave.

We will take advantage of the kayak excursions to snorkel, we will be equipped with a diving mask, snorkel, booties, wetsuit and fins.

Our guides will teach you the correct use of kayak navigation equipment and techniques.

Located in the town of L'Escala, south of the Gulf of Roses, the Funtastic EmpordàWindsurf schooloffers windsurfing courses of both initiation and improvement, as well as the appropriate material for each person's level and the sea and wind conditions that may exist at all times. The prices of the courses do not depend on the content, which is adapted to the level of each one, but on their duration and chosen formula.

You can do a single two-hour step-by-step class, be it a baptism or to refresh knowledge; a 5-hour mini-course in three classes or a weekly 8-hour course from Monday to Friday.

We include all the material, personal equipment necessary according to each case (life jacket, harness, neoprene, etc.), monitor and mandatory insurance. You don't need any special clothing, just equip yourself to go to the beach, trying to choose a comfortable swimsuit with which you can play sports.

Especially at the beginning, windsurfing requires a certain dedication... Naturally the instructor teaches you and explains to you, but progressing is also a matter of hours and practice since nothing can replace the time invested in the water. For this reason we encourage our students to continue practicing after classes.

The Funtastic Empordà Vela school has a wide range of sailing, from one-day baptisms to weekly courses from Monday to Friday. You will be able to enjoy fun regattas from your first day, you will simply have to pay attention to the theoretical classes.

We use individual dinghy sailing boats, special for practicing, these boats have all the necessary comforts and all approved safety systems. These boats are: RS Tera, RS Q'Ba, RS Feva S, Feva XL.

We also have double sailboats with asymmetric spinnaker ideal for practicing sailing and that have all the necessary navigation instruments, these boats can be: RS Vareo and RS100.

We have a great team made up of professional sailing instructors and instructors who will teach you all the techniques and tricks of this sport.

Sailing classes last 3 hours and take place from Monday to Friday at the Puerto Deportivo de la Escala, in Riells. Come and get up close and personal with the experience of traditional sailing with Funtastic Empordà!
