Festival Wakeboard Park, situated in Basildon, Essex, is a Cable Wakeboarding facility for all ages and skill level. With a 660 metre 5 pylon Rixen cable tow system, as well as a 175 metre Sesitec System 2.0 straight cable line, complete with awesome, state of the art kickers and sliders.
Festival Wakeboard Club runs many different events each week:
- Slow Cable Club – Saturday and Sunday
- Open Swimmers Sessions – Saturday mornings for beginners, intermediate and elites.
- Kids club – every Sunday
- Ladies Morning – Every Tuesday morning.
- Uni Riding – Every Wednesday
Festival Wakeboard Park, offer day concessions for 999 services, Army and Students.
Since Festival Wakeboard Park´s opening in May 2012, they have held a Red Bull and Mystic sponsored Big Air Competition attended by the likes of Nick Davies, James Young, Cain Hamilton, Tor Young and Lex Balladon.
Festival Wakeboard Park´s Hotspots Competition in September was an opportunity for our regular riders to compete against Pro riders and other cables by showing off their skills on a specific obstacle.
We look forward to introducing many new young people to a fantastic and enjoyable sport, along with hosting more competitions and specialist disabled coaching sessions.

If you want to get started, but need some help, Festival Wakeboarding Park also offers beginners sessions designed for someone who has never tried wakeboarding before, as well as for people who need a refresher course. With a 20 minute one on one tuition with one of the experienced coaches, then a 90 minute session on the main cable under close supervision, you will pick it up in no time.
