Derwent Water Marina

We are located within the larger Derwent Water Marina complex in Keswick. Take part in our relaxing and enjoyable sport of sailing. The Lake District is a fantastic place to sail, and our sailing lessons will ensure that you can enjoy the water regardless of your prior experience.

We can provide you with a number of sailing adventures. You could sail for a half day and enjoy the lake, practice your skills with out experienced instructors, or even get qualified! We are a Royal Yacht Association Training Centre, so you can get full certification wish to do so.

For those of you not seeking full certification, but who do want to improve their skills, we offer a variety of options including:ç

• Youth Scheme (stage 1-4), a way for people 14 and under to learn and improve their abilities
• Sailing Taster/Refresher- a way to brush up on old skills
• Start Sailing- level 1
• Basic Skills- level 2
• Better Sailing- level 3

Rock climbing is an amazing way to spend a day! Rock climbing is as difficult as you want it to be, and our instructors will always be there to guide you and keep you safe.
