If you have thought about taking charge of a boat at some point in your life, at Denáutica we can bring that goal forward to today. As a Mahón Maritime Club school we have the facilities and teachers that will make you go from being someone outside of this field to even becoming a yacht captain.

To start from the beginning, as long as you are over 16 years old you can obtain the title that brings you closer to your first boats. We will prepare you in the essential theoretical aspects to pass the exams for each of the following levels from the Recreational Boat Pattern, with classes throughout the year so that in summer you are already prepared.

These qualifications require an important practical part that you will also face with us in your motor and sailing practice lessons, as well as in radio lessons.

When you get your degree, you'll need a boat! We can rent it to you, from lengths as accessible for your new status as a sailor as 6 meters, with models suitable for walking or spending several days on board, with equipped cabins.

At the Denáutica Academy we manage the rental of various boats so that you have them on hand when you visit Menorca and, specifically, the area around the Port of Mahón. To dispose of them, you will be in possession of the titles that correspond to each of their lengths.

Some of what we propose are:

- Menorquin Yacht: in its 110, 120, as well as 160 and 180 versions. They have lengths ranging from a minimum of just over 11 meters to 18 meters for the largest of its brothers. You can spend the night on these boats that have space for 4 people up to a total of 8 of them. They are comfortable and have very complete interiors so you can make trips between the islands with complete peace of mind.

- Almanzor 636: a beach model as light and small as it is comfortable. With a length of only 6 meters, it is accessible to the most basic nautical titles. Perfect for spending the day at the sea and visiting a cove.

- Benetau Open 750: one of the most heard brands in our sector in a fast model with seats for occupants and space on deck for sunbathing.

Living in a place surrounded by the sea, like the island of Menorca, and not being linked to sailing prevents you from enjoying all the possibilities of the place and greatly limits your leisure time. Therefore, whether this is your usual residence or you are passing through, at the Denáutica Academy, we equip you with the corresponding qualifications so that you can yourself govern the boats in which you travel.

Come to the facilities of the Mahón Maritime Club, right in the port, and choose what you want us to train you in:

- Obtaining a license: with which you can carry a jet ski and small boats that do not exceed 6 meters as long as it is daytime.

- PNB and subsequent: if you know anything about the organization of this type of courses, you will know that the first of them is the Basic Navigation Pattern. Logically it has its limitations, which in this case are lengths of 7.5 in motor boats and 8 in sailboats, in addition to not being able to go more than 5 miles from the coast.
