Cabriel Roc

With the water sport of rafting we can descend white water accompanied by our friends, family and always guided by a specialized Cabriel Roc Rafting instructor. This boat allows you to carry food and drink supplies to have a snack along the way.

Rafting river descent is a sporting and recreational activity that consists of traveling along the riverbed in the direction of the current (downstream) aboard a pneumatic raft always directed by one of our instructors

The route will combine moments of calm waters where participants can relax, bathe, play with the water... and moments of narrowing of the river forming white waters where they will have to coordinate to avoid the different obstacles that may appear.

This activity is ideal for groups of friends or families with children. The descents are always adapted depending on the experience level of the participants.

The river descents begin in a quiet area where a theoretical-practical class is taught. Then the descent accompanied by instructors, being able to choose two sections according to the level we want.

The different types of descents that we propose from Cabriel Roc Piragüismo are the following:

• Reservoir Traverse: Routes through the Cortes Reservoir with which we can practice this modality enjoying 14 km of canyons and impressive views, as well as a large amount of fauna and flora. We will navigate next to the national hunting reserve "La Muela de Cortes", all in kayaks or canoes with 1, 2 and 3 seats, you can bring food, dry clothes, etc...

• Calm water descents: Enjoy this sport on the Cabriel River, a route with little current, accompanied by instructors, ideal for getting started in canoeing while enjoying nature to the fullest, with spectacular views of the town of Cofrentes and its castle.

• Whitewater: For the most intrepid in search of sport, excitement and new sensations, in the crystalline waters of the Cabriel River. The descent begins with some theoretical-practical classes in a backwater area, where we will learn the basic maneuvers. Once at the river, instructors will accompany us, indicating the safest and most fun route.
