AWA Watersports La Herradura

At AWA Watersports we offer you the possibility of getting to know the coasts of Granada with a means of transport that is gaining more followers every year: the kayak.< /p>

We are located on the promenade ofLa Herradura, in Granada, on one of the most beautiful coasts in the area. So our location couldn't be better. In our center you will find a large team made up of specialized instructors who will help you choose the material that best suits your circumstances: individual or two-seater kayak, life jackets, paddles,... we will provide you with everything you need.

You can choose torent the kayak and navigate at your leisure, choosing the destination and duration of the excursion yourself, or sign up for one of the travels that we do every day .

The routes usually pass through Cabo de Gata, Nerja or Maro, spectacular landscapes that hide maritime caves, grottoes and beautiful coves. During the excursion we will make stops to rest, swim and take photos. It will be a unique adventure!

It is not necessary to have previous experience since the kayak is very easy to handle, even so our instructors will be happy to help you if necessary.

Don't forget to bring a swimsuit and a change of clothes.

At AWA Watersports La Herradura we are on the promenade of La Herradura, in Granada. An area close to several spots ideal for practicing paddle surfing, the current fashionable water sport. We are experts in organizing courses that allow you to get started and improve your technique in this activity.

The levels are as follows:

• Beginner course (I): you will know the material and learn how to analyze a spot. In addition, we will teach you the basic postures to maintain balance and start progression.

• Initiation course (II): you will design your own warm-up exercises and we will show you some guidelines for choosing your own material. Paddling technique, direction control and making turns will be the aspects on which we will focus the most.

• Basic course (III): we will tell you the different types of waves and how to stabilize yourself with the help of the paddle. At the end of the course you will control the paddling of the wave and the positioning.

If you prefer, you can also sign up for one of thetravelsthat we organize throughCabo de Gata, Nerja or Maro. You only need to be 10 years or older and in average physical condition. You will discover places of great beauty, with crystal clear waters and an entire circuit of caves. A world you never imagined!

In our facilities you can clean up after the activity, your comfort is one of the aspects that we take care of the most.
