Campus Tecnológico Madrid

At Campus Tecnológico Madrid we intend to convey our passion for Technology and Robotics to all types of students, whether they are children, adolescents or adults. To do this, we develop classes, workshops and laboratories of various specializations throughout the year.

This summer, taking advantage of the school holidays, we offer the bilingual urban camp titled "Inventores Jr. & Inventores Sr.", aimed at attendees between the ages of 5 and 15.

Its minimum duration is 5 days, from Monday to Friday, but attendees can sign up for as many weeks as they wish, since the activities vary from week to week.

As main features we highlight:

• Bilingual teaching in English: we consider that the Anglo-Saxon language is basic for everyone, even more so when it comes to knowing the concepts that are used to work on the technological areas we work on. We adapt to the participant's prior knowledge, helping them understand the classes in Spanish if they do not have a sufficient level of English.

• Time flexibility to collaborate with parents: although the basic camp takes place during the week, it can be extended on Saturday and Sunday if you need it. You can choose the morning or afternoon shift for your child. These are provided from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. If a participant decides to sign up for more than one week, she will collaborate on always different projects. In fact, we recommend that you sign up for at least two weeks of camp.

• Robotics and programming activities: the main topics we work on are knowing how to program with Scratch, the operation of electronics and Arduino. Within the robotics section, we will build robots of different types and visit The Robot Museum at no additional cost. Additionally, we will design our own mobile games with AppInventor.

"Inventores Jr. & Inventores Sr." is conceived as an urban camp in which to develop skills to promote creativity and teamwork, while attendees play, enjoy and learn. Their motto is "learn by playing and play by learning.".
