10 things to do in Cádiz

The most southern region of the Iberian Peninsula is an authentic paradise for all the adventurers. Whether you want to get refreshed with water sports, or like more tours on land or, literally, refer to fly, in Cadiz you will always find what you were looking for.

1. Go parachuting from Trebujena at 3.000 meters (9842 ft.).



Carry out a tandem parachute jump with a professional and live a unique experience that provides the free fall. Also, if you want, you can book an extra, a pictures and an HD video reports - that will be taken with an interna camera that the instructor holds.

2. Discover and explore the Estrecho National Park, by horse.



One of the prettiest equestrian tours all over Spain. You will ride through enormous virgin beaches in this area and Tarifa, next to the Gibraltar Strait. At few kilometers, you will also find the Bolonia beach, where you can also carry out horseback routes through the seaside.

3. Sail through Cadiz Bay with a catamaran and sunset.



Discover one of the most beautiful sunsets whilst enjoying a boat trip from the Santa María POrt. On board, you will have a champagne glass for a very special toast. If you want, you can also book a huge dinner to take in the same boat.

4. Enjoy a tandem paraglide flight in Algodonales.



Experience one of the best and most incredible aerial sports with one trip over the Grazalema National Park. The activity is carried out with a professional pilot and you can choose between different durations. You can also find vouchers that include accommodation, just the ideal option is you are looking to enjoy an escapade.

5. Drive a jet ski from Chipiona.



Explore Luz Coast whilst pressing or turning that jet ski’s accelerator with a route leaded by a professional guide. Meet and explore places like Piedra Salmedina and visit the famous Arroz Ship. Because is a two-seater watercraft, you can go with your partner or whoever you want.

6. Depart to look for cetaceans from Tarifa.



Be part of a catamaran trip to spot and watch dolphins and whales. The skipper knows the waters of the Strait very well, and where normally the animals spend the most time, so, for sure, the expedition will be a success.

7. Learn to surf in Palmar.



These Vejer de la Frontera beaches are fantastic to slide through and catch waves. The instructors can teach from scratch or help you to improve improve if you already have practice surfing before. You can also discover other places, like windsurf or kitesurf.

8. Jump from 35 meters (9842 ft.) in La Nava.



Bungee jumping is always one the most searched alternatives for adventure fans, and here, you have the opportunity to do it. The bridge is located between Villarmatín and Algodones. Adding to the activity itself, you will leave with a DVD with a pics report on it.

9. Descent through Garganta Verde.



This ravines is waiting for you in Zahara de la Sierra. Is an exceptional way to cross the Sierra de Grazalema whilst enjoying a great adventure. The best part is that you will be able to explore the Ermita cave. You need to have experience in canyoning to be able to pass this programme.

10. Visit the Doñana National Park with a kayak.



This is a route that starts in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and goes directly to this exceptional park, already in the region of Huelva. You will sail with two-seater kayaks, so pick your friend or loved one and enjoy the adventure.
