The area of La Coquina awaits you with some unique horseback riding routes in the vicinity of Chiclana de la Frontera. At American Equestrian Center we take care of the horses, being part of our family, and we take you on their backs to visit some of the most beautiful points on the coast of Cádiz.
We will show you the beauty of the marshes that cover the land around the center, starting by showing you the riding arena where we raise the horses to go outside and visit the natural places that make up the landscape of the region.
The Barrosa beach, 8 kilometers long, which ends at the cliff that separates it from the town of Sancti Petri, will be one of the points through which we will walk horses' backs. It is their natural environment, in which they feel comfortable and happy, which makes the relationship between the animal and you almost immediate and very calm.
Our tours usually last about two and a half hours, enough to get to know the old abandoned fishing village (Sancti Petri) and its history.
And, in case you didn't know, the horses that come to our center come from shelters and shelters, so now they are really grateful to us for the good care we have given them since they arrived at our house. Although if you want to gallop along the Barrosa, one of them will take you at full speed across the sand.
