10 things to do in Aragón

Land of rivers, mountains, and ravines, the region of Aragon is a community that it does not go unnoticed for all those lovers of adventure, nature, and strong sensations. Whether you are looking for a relaxed sleigh ride with dogs, or if you want to practice the most extreme rafting, the Aragonese lands are ready to offer you. These are the ten activities that we propose if you visit Aragon:

1. Rafting in Murillo de Gállego.



If you want to release tensions, adrenaline and pass a great time, don’t hesitate on going rafting in the internationally known Gállego River. Its white waters, located between Carcavilla and Murillo, will challenge you.

2. Horseback Route in Sarvisé.



If you love to explore new lands and ones that transport to a place where nature, rustic ambiance, landscapes full of woodlands, don’t think it twice and come to enjoy a route by a horse in the Sarvisé surroundings. In this small location of Huesca, established in Broto Valley, plus, you will enjoy the popular architecture of the zone with stone houses with slate roofs.

3. Canyoning in the Sierra of Guara.



Get in direct contact with the help from nature whilst going canyoning in the Sierra of Guara. Its different caves, abyss, and ravines that make this place in one the most claimed zones. Depending on what you are looking for, you can choose an easy route like is the Formiga ravine or the more exciting Peonera ravine.

4. Mushing in Cerler.



A plan that is not incredible known, but that without a doubt, and will leave with a desire to come back, the mushing route dragged by dogs. Enjoy the incredible snowy views that the mountains if the Benasque valley or Cerler provide, the beauty of the landscapes of the Posets-Maladeta National Park with glacial-origin lakes, whilst the dogs have fun dragging you through the snow.

5. Bungee Jumping in Alfambra.



Do you dare to enjoy a 35-meter jump? If you are one of those people who like to enjoy a “risky” experience, to go bungee jumping in the La Venta bridge, in Alfambra… You will love it. And if we want to relax after so much excitement, we can visit the Beet Museum, an ideal center for lovers of gastronomy.

6. Snowmobile Route in Partacua Valley.



Enjoy an incredible route through the snow by the Partacua Valley, with a snowmobile. Located in the southern part of the Tena Vallet, is one of the most spectacular places that the Iberian Peninsula has. Horizons full of snowy mountains will open your path, a trail that is really easy to cover thanks to the snowmobiles ready to pass over thick snowy terrains.

7. Gyroplane Flight in the Ordesa National Park.



Have you ever flew with a helicopter that doesn’t have a roof? If you haven’t, in Aragon’s Pyrenees, you will have the opportunity to do it. Called gyroplanes, they are aircraft that allow you to feel the wind touching your face whilst observing the beautiful landscapes of the Ordesa National Park. From the heights, you will sightsee the Tres Sorores massif (the highest calcareous massif in Europe), the impressive mountains or the extraordinary glacial lakes, among other things.

8. Hydrospeed in Gállego River.



Calm the white waters of the Gállego River, boarding a board that will make you float, like a tree trunk. The different rapids that form this river in Aragon’s region, won’t make you get bored at any moment.

9. Segway Route in Alquézar.



In Aragon, we can find villages so emblematic and historicals like Alquézar. Located in the city of Somontano de Barbastro, there is nothing better than lose ourselves in the pretty streets, of Arabic and Jew structure, than driving a Segway. Considered one of the prettiest villages of Spain, it has a great architectural wealth, such as the hermitage of San Gregorio or its stately collegiate church. Do not hesitate and explore this town bordered by the Vero river canyon.

10. Snowrackets route in Llanos del Hospital.



You can’t leave Aragon without trying one of the best and popular winter activities, and also accessible to everyone. We will be surrounded by Benasque, in the Pyrenees, the French frontier. Generally, the tours last around 2 hours, so you won’t have any problems even if you are a starter.
