Punta Laguna México

Punta Laguna México is a protected natural reserve considered a sanctuary for the "spider monkey", which also functions as an ecotourism and adventure center offering activities for tourists with very low environmental impact.

More than 120 inhabitants belonging to indigenous Mayan communities live in this area. With the aim of helping their economic situation and preserving their customs and traditions, in Punta Laguna México we invite you to take guided tours through our museum, indigenous communities and towns, getting to know the way of life of these people and their culture up close.

The most adventurous and adrenaline addicts will have a great time jumping from our zip lines, flying over the lake at full speed suspended from a rope, it will be a very exciting experience. In addition, paddle aboard our canoes accompanied by the whole family or with friends, contemplate the turquoise blue water of Punta Laguna México.

And for those nature lovers we have guided walks to observe the local fauna, since we are a "Spider Monkey Reserve", where other species of primates also live, a great variety of birds and all kinds of exotic animals from the Mayan jungle.
