Welcome to Gwithian Academy of Surfing

We are located at St Ives Bay in Cornwall, a fantastic and beautiful location, with a good surf all year round.

We welcome all levels, from complete beginners who want to learn, to the more experienced who would like to continue improving and practising their skills. We offer both group and private lessons, and groups such as families, stag and hen parties, school and youth groups, and corporate groups looking for a team day out. We include wetsuits free of charge,

All of our team are qualified surf coaches, life guards and first aiders, so you can be sure of a high standard of tuition in a safe environment.
