At Acero Surf Skola we have been training surfing enthusiasts like you for more than 6 years, through the professionalism of our team led by the two-time champion of the European Professional Circuit.

We are located on Barinatxe (La Salvaje) beach, in Sopelana-Getxo, very close to Bilbao, from where it will only take half an hour to reach arrive by car, metro or bus (Bilbao-Larrabasterra).

Surrounded by steep cliffs that give a very special touch to the landscape, during these years we have deepened our methods even more to achieve our goal, that everyone enjoys surfing and can feel the joy and happiness of sliding on the waves taking advantage of the strength of the sea and its ability.

To do this, we have developed an active and intensive teaching process in which you will come into contact with water from the first day so that you lose your fear and begin to gain confidence and ease from the first minute.

The keys to our method:

• Personal and close learning, based on small groups (maximum 5).

• Highly qualified, qualified teachers with extensive experience in the surfing elite.

• Search for the best conditions for learning (tides, wind, spots...)

In our center you will find the best materials and instructors that will make learning to surf be entertaining and full of challenge and adventure.

We have initiation surf classes in which we will begin by learning to know the environment in which we move and we will enter the water for the first time. We will teach you to paddle the board, to stand up and lie down without losing your balance and we will begin to catch the waves.

In the intermediate level surf classes we will begin to practice turns and gain more and more speed on the waves. We will also consolidate the knowledge acquired during the previous course and select the best waves.

Finally, at the perfection level we will delve into the advanced turning technique and we will teach you the best competition techniques. We will also perfect each student's technique through audiovisual monitoring so that you can see your mistakes yourself and correct them. And as an excellent method to raise your level, you will surf side by side with Eneko, Kepa and Iker Acero and other professional surfers.

In 2019, in addition to the introductory courses (5 days, 10 hours), initiation and consolidation courses (10 days, 20 hours), and individual classes, we are renewing ourselves with new programs and new activities that we offer in order to better adapt toyour demands:

• Surf guide: if you want to enjoy the best surf of the moment and go for it. If you have a holiday, a weekend, a vacation to dedicate to surfing, a good alternative is a guided surf outing. Under the leadership of Eneko Acero, in addition to the professionalism of Jon Irigoien and the experience provided by Kosme Fernández, experts in all the spots in the area, you will spend an unforgettable day at the best peak of that day. Groups of 4 people. 4-hour departures (travel + bathroom). Advice on the characteristics of the wave (before entering the water) and advice on the terrain, in the water. You have our surf guide photos as a sample.

• Personal coaching: training on a physical level, with technical concepts and without neglecting the psychological factor to improve your surfing and your sports performance. Programming and possibility of monitoring in the competition.

• Group coaching: we will go out to the highest quality spots, recording the activity on video with a 4-hour program that includes travel and time in the water. We can also dedicate an hour to video correction of your technique. You can see a sample of the spots that we can visit in our photos (surf guide).

• Travel Coaching: In collaboration with a highly experienced surf tour company, Eneko technically runs 8-hour trips. 10 days to world class waves (Maldives, Bali, Costa Rica, Morocco, etc...). We choose wave seasons, with good weather, with delicious surroundings... to spend a few days on vacation by boat or in a surf camp, enjoying fun waves.

• Groups: We have very positive experiences in courses aimed at groups or sports clubs. In a few days – thanks to their physical preparation and their sports practice – they make great progress. We offer as accommodation the "Fadura Residence for Athletes", with a pleasant and cheap stay, with excellent sports facilities (swimming pools, gym, athletics, sports fields, etc...). This year we have expanded the experience to business and family groups with excellent results, as they are homogeneous groups with a good environment that facilitate learning. We offer special plans and prices.

• Surf vouchers of 5 or 10 sessions for weekends, valid for 3 or 4 months respectively. You let us know the weekend you are signing up for andOn Thursday-Friday we will inform you by WhatsApp of the place and time of the appointment on Saturday and/or Sunday.

• This year (2020) we are planning a special group coaching on our beach, so that we will video the waves of the session and we can analyze them at the end. When we have it finalized we will notify you.

• Private surf lessons: they are gaining popularity because the time can be agreed upon and learning is faster and more solid, since the teacher follows very closely and explains, indicates and corrects as they go

As you can see, we have offers for everyone, from those who just want to get started to be able to enjoy the sea and the waves in a relaxed way to those who seek to become professionals and compete at the highest level, including those who want to enjoy the surfingwith the guidance and advice of a professional on outings or trips to the best waves of the moment.

We are open all year round, for all ages, with all options: groups of 5 maximum, private classes (1, 2 or 3 people) and with trainers who They are fluent in Spanish, Basque, and English. We can also give you technical advice on tables, training, etc.
