Toledo is undoubtedly the paradise for parachute jumping in our country. Those who have been looking for a place to try skydiving for a long time and have thought about going to this province of La Mancha, will be right in the right place because here they will find an infinite number of skydiving experiences. Furthermore, it is the perfect alternative for those coming from the central area of the Iberian Peninsula, especially from Madrid, as its protected airspace means that in less than an hour the people of Madrid will be ready to take a plunge from the sky.

Whether you are from La Mancha or anywhere nearby, this region has all the adventure you are looking for. In just a couple clicks you'll have your day of skydiving in Toledo fully organised.

When it comes to where to go skydiving in Toledo, you'll be spoilt for choice between two municipalities. The best thing is that you won't find all offers in one place but rather well distributed, so you'll have the possibility to choose the parachute jump that best suits what you're looking for, both in terms of performance and distance. On the other hand, it seems that this region has made its one mission to make this adventure even more adrenaline-pumping, as here you will find all kinds of parachute jumps that are performed from a higher altitude than the usual for these activities. Skydiving in Toledo is no laughing matter!

Lillo is one of the municipalities where you can do skydiving. This town is just an hour's drive from the capital of Toledo, and a little longer if you're coming from Madrid. In its aerodrome you will find an infinite number of skydiving jumps that will give you that longed-for dose of adrenaline, either with photos and/or video, or simply by jumping with a parachute into the void with no other worry than that to enjoy every second of this experience.

On the other hand, if your intention is to take skydiving to a whole new level or even become a professional of this sport and you already feel that your body will not be able to jump just once or sporadically, Lillo is the town you have to visit. Here you will find not only skydiving packs, but also a large number of skydiving courses with which you can learn professional skills and acquire your license to jump as many times as your body demands, and even carry out tandem skydiving jumps! To give you an idea, here is a sample of what you can experience:

- A pack with a skydiving baptism and course. This is the ideal alternative if your hand in this world and want to know if you really like it or not. Here you will do two jumps, one in tandem mode and a free one. That is to say, in the first one you will be hooked to a monitor while in the second one you will jump on your own, but accompanied by two other monitors who will guide your jump. This way you will be able to savour the experience accompanied and alone and discover if you are really made for this.

- A parachute jump without a tandem. Perfect if you want to feel this experience in the best possible way. You will receive a theoretical briefing beforehand and then you will jump with two instructors.

- You can do a complete skydiving course and receive your qualification upon completion. In this case you will cover a 7-module course where you will jump in tandem 3 times and jump solo 4 times, as well as attend theory classes in each module.

- Take a skydiving course and obtain the A jump certificate, with which you will study the same 7 modules as in the previous one, in addition to an extra theoretical part and complete 15 more consolidation jumps. With the A certificate, you will be able to jump with more people in the air.

- Taking a parachute folding course will be very useful especially if you want to become a real skydiver.

As we said at the beginning, Lillo is not the only town in Toledo where you can try a parachute jump. In Ocaña, approximately 40 minutes from the city of Toledo, it is possible to feel the free fall on your skin and with some proposals that will satisfy your desire for adrenaline. Jumps with video and/or photos, simple jumps, skydiving courses for all levels, and even an expert course in sports skydiving during which you will jump a total of 25 times, thus acquiring the international skydiving certificate.

Regardless of the place and the option you choose to go skydiving you will be delighted to know that what makes this adventure even more (if possible) special is that in Toledo you jump at an altitude of 4,000 metres, whereas the usual altitude is 3,000 metres. So, as you can see the difference is simply abysmal. For that alone, Toledo gets an extra point from us!

In any case, you will not need any previous experience regardless of the jump or skydiving course you decide to take, as you will always receive the corresponding prior or theoretical training before you start. Even if you make a tandem jump, that is, harnessed to an instructor, you will also be taught how the parachute works, the protocols to follow and what to do throughout the activity.

The important thing is that you should be aware that, contrary to what it might seem, skydiving is a very safe extreme sport. Exhaustive care is taken over the equipment to be used, the preparation of the skydiving team and the briefing they give you.

Once you have chosen the day on which you will parachute from Lillo or Ocaña, all you have to do is head to one of the two airfields and pay attention to all the explanations that the instructors will give you.

Falling at around 220 km/h after approximately 1 minute of free fall, is something we recommend to anyone who has even the slightest desire to do something unique. The province of Toledo has become a place of pilgrimage for all lovers of the most daring adventures, and skydiving is certainly one of them.

That's why it's a good idea to come accompanied, because even if you're the only one getting into the plane to make the parachute jump, your loved ones can watch you land while you have a drink in the bar area, at the same height as the landing strip, and see how you land amidst shouts and applause from them.

You don't have to fear anything, just go in with a clear mind and your own nerves before what will undoubtedly become one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. Skydiving is for people like you and Toledo is the place where your next dream-like day might come true.
