General information
Company Overview
Skydive Mimizan is the kind of school where you come with a slightly crazy idea in your head and where, a few hours later, you wonder why you waited so long. The center is located at the Mimizan aerodrome, in the Landes, with a setting that really helps you take the plunge: the Atlantic Ocean on one side, the Landes forest on the other, and this very clear impression of being in the right place to do something that stands out.
Here, you can come for a first tandem jump, supervised by an instructor, without prior experience. You don't come to learn alone from the start. You come to discover free fall with someone who manages the technical parts for you, while you mainly do what you came for: take a deep breath, jump, scream a little if it comes out, and enjoy.
For those who want to go further, Skydive Mimizan also offers PAC training. There, we are no longer talking about a simple baptism. We're talking about really learning skydiving, with theory, accompanied jumps, progression, corrections, and the clear objective of becoming independent. It’s not the same approach, nor the same commitment. And that’s precisely what makes the offer interesting: you can come to test, or come to start seriously.
The center also welcomes skydivers who want to progress, improve or work on their practice. Coaching, courses, free fall disciplines, technical support, drop zone atmosphere. We quickly feel that this is not an activity intended to sell adrenaline. It’s a school, with a real skydiving culture behind it.
And then there is Mimizan. The area has this thing that is quite simple to understand: when the plane door opens and you have the Landes under your feet, you are no longer watching a video of someone who dares. It's you. And there, strangely, everything becomes very real!
