Orca Diving Center

The Orca Diving Center is located in the Protected Marine Area called "Porto Cesareo" and is managed by a professional, as well as instructor, with experience in Italy and abroad.

The diving courses organized by Orca Diving Center are aimed at obtaining PADI certifications (Professional Association of Diving Instructor) which will be awarded at the end of each course and are recognized at international level, thanks to the prestige and recognized fame of this important recreational diving agency, among the largest in the world.

The certifications unfold on a complete scale of levels, starting from the first basic underwater experiences (Open water diver), up to reaching the important certification ofDivemaster ; this also includes various specialty courses, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid courses as well as courses and excursions aimed at Environmental Protection.

The trained diving guides of Orca Diving Center form a team of local diving experts, with more than twenty years of experience in the waters of Porto Casareo and along its seabed.

The center was the winner of the prestigious "PADI Environment Award", awarded in 2005, 2006 and 2007 following the merits recognized in environmental and marine protection, with special attention to the territories of the protected marine area and for the complete assonance with the philosophy of Project A.W.A.R.E. of which it is an Official Partner; and the "Community Involvement Award" awarded following the services carried out to the community.

The Diving Center is among the only authorized PADI Diving Centers in Puglia and is ready to welcome divers also from the point of view of equipment and material, with complete equipment and a charging station available for A.R.A., Nitrox, Trimix plus a room dedicated to washing equipment.

The excursions are organized every day of the year and carried out thanks to the school's inflatable boat, approved for the transport of 28 passengers and the loading of 2,500 kg of equipment, also equipped with an echo sounder, G.P.S. and oxygen kit.

The Orca Diving Center has active collaborations with numerous structures in the area and local Tour Operators, thanks to which it is able to offer its customers an offer including accommodation or solutions suitable for weekends and blue weeks.

For VIP customers we also offer Personal Scuba Trainers with the presence of professional Bodyguards.
