General information
The course will be divided into different sections:
- 5 theory modules (theoretical lessons),
- 5 practical lessons in swimming pools or confined waters
- 4 trips to the sea (open water).
Deal overview
The training includes three areas of action:
- theory,
- confined waters (pool or delimited basins),
- open waters (sea).
The Open Water Diver course allows you to learn theoretical knowledge and practical skills for diving independently up to 18 meters deep.
With theory, you learn about diving, the equipment you use and what to do to protect your safety.
The second phase, that of diving in confined waters, allows you to practice in a safe and controlled environment, learning breathing techniques, how to empty the mask, how to retrieve the equipment, etc.
The third phase, the most important one, allows you to practice what you learned in the previous phases .
Diving is always carried out with a diving buddy and under the careful supervision of the instructor.
