Ametlla Diving

Offers of Scuba diving near L' Ametlla De Mar
Company Overview
Discover the depths of the Costa Dorada by diving with Ametlla Diving. L'Ametlla de Mar is one of the areas of Tarragona where more tourists come every year, not only Spanish, but from all over Europe, since the diving conditions are optimal.
We have the richest variety of coasts where the coves become the perfect setting for a diving trip, although we can also make trips from a boat, which will take us to discover incredible wrecks. p>
The characteristics of the Mediterranean mean that this sport can be practiced all year round, since it lacks strong currents and the waters are very transparent.
Get started with Discover Scuba Diving, with which you can dive to a depth of about 8 meters with the help of an instructor who will accompany you during the activity. You will be approximately 45 meters in the water, enough for you to feel weightlessness, discover what is hidden under the sea and know how to breathe with the diving equipment.
The dive points, both for beginners and qualified divers, that we visited are the following:
- Cala Llobeta. We will leave from the beach and dive to a maximum depth of 14 meters, where we will find rock formation landscapes.
- Calafató. This point has rock formations, Posidonia meadows and the famous "dolphin cave", so called because a small bronze dolphin is found there.
- Sanr Jordi. It is not a very deep dive, so it is ideal for those who are just starting out. You can also dive at night in it, since the conditions in this area are perfect for it.
- Cala Vidre. During the tour we will find rock formations and countless cavities, although we will only be able to enter two of them.
- Wreck diving. We find sunken boats at an approximate depth of between 20 and 30 meters. We start from a boat and we can even reach a sunken boat up to 25 meters in length. The most impressive wreck we have on the entire Catalan coast is the Cavour, as it has dimensions of 20 meters wide by 100 meters in length. It can be accessed and the passage of time has made it become one of the most impressive artificial reefs in the area.
Ask us about other diving areas, since we have places like Cala Bon, L'Estany, Cala Pepo, Rompeolas... Choose the one you like the most!

Very punctual and very attentive at all times. We did find that the seabed of the coves we went to was not particularly nice but very average, you can see practically the same snorkeling.Company's response:
Thank you for your sincere opinion, if unfortunately there is not the same visibility every day and the background changes from one day to the next and apart from the saturation of Tourism on the coast, we are working to remedy it before it is too late, a cordial greeting. -

I did not think there were sunken ships that could be visited on the coast of Tarragona. Hallucinated, I recommend it.
