Infomatic is a professional maritime training center located in Algeciras. It teaches port skipper courses, Ro-Ro vessel certificate and basic training certificate and many more specialties.

All courses taught at the center are approved by the Merchant Navy. We offer courses for workers and the unemployed, free for 100% subsidized workers.

The possibilities we offer are:

• Port Skipper Certification: Skipper of merchant ships of gross tonnage not exceeding 100 GT where you will carry out navigations that do not go more than 3 miles from the port and that transport a maximum of 150 passengers. You can simultaneously perform the functions of skipper and chief engineer, as long as the ship has the appropriate automation and the power does not exceed 375 KW in a single engine, or double that in two or more engines.

• Basic training certificate: Possession of the "Basic Training Certificate" will be required for all personnel who perform maritime professional functions on civil ships, as well as those entrusted with security tasks. or pollution prevention related to the ship's operations, under the Table of Obligations and Instructions of the Ship, the Onboard Emergency Plan in case of Hydrocarbon Pollution or the Safety Management Manual.

• Certificate of Ro-Ro and non-Ro-Ro ships: captains, Officers and Sailors, Bridge and Engines, and other personnel with passenger assistance functions in emergency situations on passenger ships , both conventional and ro-ro (ro-ro), with tonnage equal to or greater than 500 GT or that are authorized to transport 300 or more passengers.
