Club Vela Blanes

The summer sailing courses that we offer at Club Vela Blanes will allow all those who visit our town during these months to practice the sport of sailing in a simple and fun way for everyone.

These courses, standardized by the Catalan Sailing School, have been taught since 1974. They are led by a team of qualified instructors with extensive experience in sailing, allowing you to get started in the world of sailing in an educational and fun way. with special emphasis on learning and, as required by the student, improvement.

The Club Vela Blaness courses will be carried out on different boats: raqueros, optimist, 'panxitos', 420 and wakes. With registration and during the courses, materials and books from the FCV school will be delivered that will support the classes.

In this way, at the end of the course there will be a small swearing-in party for the passports and diplomas that will accredit the student with the level acquired throughout the course. Finally, all those who have acquired the appropriate level will have the annual BCN fee.

The levels of our courses are as follows:

• White level: Sea baptism.
• Yellow level: You will know the basic elements of navigation.
• Orange Level: The student assumes the second level of knowledge.
• Blue Level: Navigation techniques and specific maneuvers are perfected.
• Brown Level: The student will have autonomy to practice sailing.
• Gray Level: The student is prepared to begin his or her sporting career.
