Club Náutic L'Escala

The Club Nàutic L'Escala is a sports association located in Port de l'Escala, near the Greek and Roman ruins of Empúries. The situation in which we find ourselves allows us to provide our clients with optimal conditions for practicing sports at sea. We can also be the base for the countless tourist activities offered in the Empordà region, surrounded by historical monuments, museums, landscapes and unique gastronomy.

At the Club Nàutic L’Escala we have a team of professionals who will assist you during your stay in the port and will provide you with all the information you need regarding our services and those of the surrounding area.

On the other hand, we organize activities and sporting events non-stop throughout the year, such as:

• Boat trips to get to know our coastline and relax with the sea breeze and the landscape
• Sailing in sports mode for those who prefer to experience sailing in a more active way

Without a doubt, the boat tours and boat rentals that we offer are special. We have expert skippers who know our waters like the back of their hand and will take you through the Gulf of Roses, where the weather and navigation conditions could not be better.

The services we can offer you are:

• Guided boat tours. Our routes are ideal for you to enjoy with whoever you choose in your free time. We carry out the activity every weekend although if you wish we can arrange a day during the week. The departures will be along the Costa Brava and we will focus on the surroundings of L'Escala.

• Boat rental. Thanks to us you can enjoy sailing at your leisure. You can rent cruises, for which you will need to be in possession of the PER, or light sailing boats. You will find various options so you can choose the one you like the most. The rental can be 2 or 3 hours, depending on the boat chosen.

• Outings for groups. If you come with your friends, are organizing a company event or want to share a different experience with your family, don't wait any longer to contact us! We will design a tailored proposal for you.

If you have always wondered what it feels like to take the helm of a boat and sail the seas, we suggest that you come and meet us, as we have dinghy sailing or cruising sailing courses so that you can obtain the necessary qualification and rent a boat whenever you want.

The options that we can propose are the following:

• Private sailing classes. We adjust to your needs, since we understand that for work or study reasons it is not always easy to adapt to the schedule of our classes. All you have to do is ask us! The duration of the classes is 2 hours in which there will be both theory and practice. The minimum age is 8 years old and the boat can be single, double or triple.

• Light sailing courses. Perfect for newbies and for those who already have experience in this activity. We carry out courses aimed at all ages and we have various schedules so you can choose the one you prefer. We need a minimum of 5 people to develop the course. We have initiation courses (I, II and III) and improvement courses. From 8 years old.

• Cruise sailing courses. Course dedicated to all those who wish to practice it, from those who want to have a first contact to those who have sufficient experience and want to improve their techniques. We need a minimum of 2 people to be able to carry it out and the courses we teach are initiation I, II and III. From 16 years old.
