Vercors Aventure offers you to explore the Vercors and the other Alpine massifs through multiple activities: Climbing, Canyoning, Via Ferrata, Caving, Mountain Biking, and Skiing for half a day, for the day or for stays.
Vercors Aventure is a structure open all year round. Made up of a team of guides and instructors, it offers you numerous outdoor activities to discover throughout the seasons. Individually or in a group, come and get some fresh air with these nature enthusiasts. You will have the opportunity to practice:
- During the Summer: Embark on mountain sports such as Canyoning, Climbing, Via Ferrata, but also mountain biking or caving.
- But also in Winter: enjoy activities dedicated to skiing, but also snowshoeing, mountaineering or ski touring.
For businesses, you will also find team building courses, sports courses or advice for organizing seminars.
Summary Canyoning
In the Vercors, the Chartreuse Massif, or in the heart of the Pyrenees on the Spanish side or on the Isle of Beauty.
The instructors select the best descents for you based on your current level. There will be something for everyone ! From easy canyonsaccessible from 8 years old to technical outings reserved for serious athletes accustomed to any type of canyon, everyone will find the service best suited to their expectations. br />
Of course, in thecanyons, you will find many very fun passages, and others more acrobatic. Obviously, you are accompanied and supervised before and throughout the service: qualified instructors, equipment... Venture into the various canyons of the region, and elsewhere!
Summary Cross-Country Skiing
The Vercors will reveal its landscapes to you duringcross-country skiing sessions. You will benefit from the advice of the instructors who will adapt the sessions to your level and your cross-country skiing objectives.
Whether in Skating or Classic step, you will benefit from the knowledge of professionals during an initiation, or an improvement which can go as far as competition.
The center also offers training in Nordic raid as well as ideal physical preparation for those who want to take advantage of the winter to practice anoutdoor sport.
For enthusiasts, note that the center also offers Nordic hiking and biathlon sessions.
Summary Climbing
The center offers support from qualified instructors who will take you to natural sites. If you are an experienced climber or looking to improve, you will have the opportunity to try out on sporting sites or on Great Routes.
Variousclimbing school sites will be offered to you. Beginners can have fun on Lans en Vercors, at Villard de Lans or on the different cliffs of Corrençon.
If you already practice climbing and want to try more technical routes, Presles or Verdon will be a real little paradise for you.
Regardless of the level, the Vercors Aventure instructors bring you together around the same passion and adapt to your expectations!
Summary Via Ferrata
Via Ferrata is not an activity reserved only for serious climbers. You will benefit from different levels of difficulty adapted to your physical abilities and your experience in the activity:
- You've never done it: many via ferratas await you in the region. Discover for example the captures of the Bastille, the Vire des Lavandières, the Cascades du Grand Serre... and many other easy to tackle routes.
- You already have Via Ferrata experience: Try the Grand Dièdre, but also the Perrons in Les 2 Alpes for example! Some routes are truly aimed at experts.
Summary Caving
Vercors Aventure is a structure made up of caving professionals. They will take you to discover the underground passages and cavities located beneath your feet! Underground lakes, natural labyrinths, surprising reliefs... a real discovery between science and adventure that will delight adults and children alike. Indeed, children are welcome from 6 years old since the center adapts the courses to the general abilities of the group.
You will have the opportunity to test horizontal caving, accessible to all, but also vertical cavingwhich will require some technical maneuvers reminiscent of climbing.
The Vercors is full of sites hidden beneath the surface. Discover Les Goules Vertes, Les Cuves de Sassenage, Le Trou qui Souffle, l’Orthovox... and many others!
Summary Mountain Biking
The beauty of the Vercors as well as its exceptional and preserved landscapes make it a site of choice for mountain biking, with Mont Blanc and the Belledone range in the background!
On site, at the center, you will find professionals ready to advise you and support you in mountain biking in the following disciplines:
- Touring Mountain Bike: ideal rides, adapted to your level of practice.
- Enduro : Come practice enduro mountain biking in the Vercors massif or enjoy stays in the most beautiful spots and single tracks in the region!
- Downhill mountain biking : come learn and practice downhill mountain biking as soon as the sunny days return.
- Itinerant mountain biking : Go on a trip crossing the Vercors with supervision and accommodation in a gîte.
They also welcome businesses and children from the age of 8!
Summary Snowshoeing
Come and share the adventure in a preserved setting with Vercors Aventure Snow Raquettes!
Snowshoeing is a fantastic way to discover the mountains in a different way...Far from the frenzy of the alpine ski slopes, embark on an adventure of calm and nature. The Vercors will also offer you wonderful landscapes.
The Vercors Aventure Snowshoes Certified Instructors will introduce you to the practice of the activity. Then in their company you will set off on the trails. On the program: walking, but also the discovery of fauna, flora, the mountain environment...
The itinerary will be adapted to your level, the profile of your group, as well as all your desires!
Birthdays, bachelor parties, family nature days, any occasion is good to organize a snowshoe day.
