The famous English Chalkstream flows by our estate and on either side of the river the land rises up steeply onto the traditional gorse downlands, which are interspersed by deep chalk valleys, offering great gaming opportunities.

Welcome to The Wrackleford Estate Fishing. We practice fly fishing on the River Frome, which is the most western of the famous English chalkstreams.

Our estate is set on one of the finest stretches of the river, just north of Dorchester in the historic county of Dorset. The River Frome has matured into a fine trout river, which is fed by a number of gin clear tributaries along its course.

At The Wrackleford Estate Fishing we offer 8 fishing beats that are suitable for 1 - 2 rods on the river and a stillwater lake.

The Wrackleford Estate Clay Pigeon Shooting is renowned for its quality of tuition. We are set in the unspoilt, deep Dorset chalk valleys and many of the current plantations were planted specifically for shooting at the turn of the last century. It is a spectacular setting and you can enjoy both clay target and live game shooting.

The day is based around our unique Shooting Lodge, which provides excellent accommodation for a team of guns. You can all relax comfortably around the giant elm circular table in-front of a large inglenook fireplace.

Our Shooting Lodge is 1 mile from the nearest main road, making it remote and rural but it is only 2 hours from London, which makes it easily accessible to many.
