Reach Beyond Adventure, along with many other activities, provides open canoeing, also known as Canadian canoeing. This is one of Reach Beyond Adventures most popular activities. Canoeing gives you an amazing opportunity to view the great outdoors with others. Since learning how to canoe won´t take much time, you will be out on the water quickly, with no hassle.

There is a minimum of 2 people in each canoe so if you came with a group or your family, this will be a great activity to participate in. If you are with a large group, the canoes can also be rafted together and sailed around when there is wind blowing.

Reach Beyond Adventure Kayaking, along with many other activities, provides kayaking. A kayak is very small so with this, you can get into the little spots that you wouldn´t get to see any other way. Kayaking is also fairly easy to learn, so there wouldn´t be anything holding you back. If you would like to travel for longer distances, you can go on the sea kayaks.

Reach Beyond Adventure, along with many other activities, provides canyoning also known as scrambling. It has two different types, ghyll scrambling and ridge scrambling. You climb up and around steep mountain and river beds, over rocks, waterfalls, causing you to have an extreme adrenaline rush the entire time. You climb all that only to then jump into pools and down waterfalls. A less intense, yet still exhilarating experience is ridge scrambling, where you are rock climbing and walking while sometimes supported by rope.

Reach Beyond Adventure Hiking, along with many other activities, provides hiking, which is also known as hill walking. You can go around the mountains of Lake District and really enjoy the gorgeous views available on the walks and trails throughout the mountains. Depending on the level of difficulty you would like on the hiking trails, you could get anything from ridge scrambling to rambling.

Reach Beyond Adventure Climing, along with many other activities, provides rock climbing. With a safety rope, you will be able to go to the Lakeland cliff and go rock climbing on the rock face. You also will be taught how to use the safety rope sufficiently, as well as techniques to climbing and descending back down.

If you are unexperienced, you will have help the whole way whenever you need it. For the more advanced rock climbers, Reach Beyond Adventure has more challenging climbing and belaying techniques that you can be taught as well as given a introductory lesson on lead climbing.

Reach Beyond Adventure provides abseiling for all ages and abilities.  Abseiling is a descending down a cliff,  mountain or building by rope. You descend at your own pace and, backed up by a safety rope, have complete control over your rate of descent.

Reach Beyond Adventure also takes abseiling to the next level by combining this exciting activity with a journey or longer adventure.  Examples include  abseiling into your canoe on a lake, down the side of a high mountain ridge off a huge 150ft cliff face.
