Company Overview
Panticosa is located in the Western Pyrenees in the Tena valley and stands out for its family atmosphere and traditional mountain character. The advantage of being a family station can be seen in different aspects: in the atmosphere of tranquility, difficult to find in large stations, and in a price very close to what is offered.
Currently it is a very modern resort since it has modernized both facilities and services to offer a quality service to the taste of skiers. Tracks for all levels, traverses and a spectacular panoramic view of the Lanuza reservoir and the town of Sallent de Gállego.
News for the 2008-09 season:
- New conveyor belt in the Petrosos area, conveyor belt so that children can take their first steps in the snow. Located next to the Snow Garden, replacement Selva Verde Ski Lift. New access platform to the cable car.
- Artificial Snow System Remodeling
- Automation of the Artificial Snow system in the Fobas II area. Snowing of new slopes, reaching 16 km covered in snow. 5 new marked slopes, increasing the ski area to 35 km. 3 new Green slopes in the beginners area, 2 new red slopes in the Pala de Petrosos area, Remodeling of the slopes.
- Remodeling of the debutante area. New cafeteria with terrace at the Telecabina Base. Identification bracelet for all children.
- Daily program of activities for the little ones.
- Active Week with apreski activities every day.
- New family packages. New Lockers.
- Total remodeling of the base of the Gondola. Personalized and daily attention for weekday customers.

Summary Ski Resorts
The Panticosa ski resort has a total of 41 slopes (7 green, 14 Blue, 16 Red and 4 Black) that can be accessed with a total of 16 lifts with capacity for 14,145 people/hour.
You will find a great variety of slopes for all levels, crossings and a spectacular panoramic view of the Lanuza reservoir and the town of Sallent de Gállego.

Summary Hiking
Contact Panticosa Senderismo and come enjoy spectacular mountain routes with which you will discover the most beautiful corners of the station:
- Ibon sabocos (approximate time: 30-40 minutes): Lake of glacial origin located at 1905 m. of altitude and surrounded by the peaks of Verde (2,295 m.) and Peña Sabocos (2,757 m.) located in the tendeñera massif, with imposing calcareous walls where significant species such as the bearded vulture nest.
- Ibon de los Asnos (approximate time: 40-50 minutes): The Ibon de los Asnos is located at 2060 m. of altitude, very close to the Sabocos lake, it is surrounded by the peaks of Peña Roya (2578m.) and Mandilar (2211m.) This lake is home to the salmon trout typical of these places, or endemic species such as the Pyrenean newt. Early in the morning you can see herds of sarrios and even some roe deer.
- Mandilar Peak (approximate time: 45-55 minutes): The Mandilar Peak or Cerro Cuartale, with an altitude of 2,220 m. In winter it is the highest point of the ski resort. It is formed by strongly folded Devonian materials forming an anticlinal structure visible from many places.
- The route of viewpoints, from which you can contemplate the most beautiful corners of Panticosa and the Tena Valley.
- Panticosa viewpoint (approximate time: 3 minutes). When you get off the cable car, you will find this viewpoint very close with incredible views of the Tena Valley. You will be able to see herds of cows, horses and sheep, grazing on these slopes.
- Sabocos viewpoint (approximate time: 15-20 minutes). On the way to the lakes you can take a break and observe the Tena Valley from another perspective. As a curiosity you can see the great chromatic difference of the vegetation between valleys. Viewpoint of the valleys (approximate time: 45-55 minutes).
