The experience itself is very pretty, but I did not like the little organization and empathy we have received.
They asked us to arrive 30 minutes before, which we met, and upon arrival they informed us that the instructor and the rest of the group had not yet arrived, inviting us to wait in the cafeteria. However, at 11:10 the instructor arrived with a bad attitude claiming us for not being prepared.
We went up to horses without hardly receiving instructions, although for most it was our first time. Some did not even know where they should be held. Maybe for them it is simple, but for us it was something completely new: we were riding an animal, and obviously we were afraid to harm or make a mistake.
A person from the group did not want to go jogging because he did not feel safe yet (something completely normal being his first time), but the response of the instructors was: “It doesn't matter if he does not want, it is what he has to do.”
We understand that the activity lasts one hour and must meet the times, but we would not have cared to enjoy our rhythm, gaining confidence with the horse, and at the time, if necessary, turn us around to return at the scheduled time.
The place is beautiful and the experience could be wonderful, but my recommendation would be: to give a previous talk with clear instructions for all, especially for those who are beginners.
Show more empathy towards people without experience. Take advantage that there were three instructors to divide the group if necessary: some guiding the most experienced and others accompanying those who need to go more slowly, without pressing or putting their safety at risk.
It is important to remember that a quick horse with an insecure rider can be very dangerous. Any accident could be avoided simply giving a better accompaniment from the beginning.
