Marwell Activity Centre

At Marwell Activity Centre, we have the best high ropes sessions in Hampshire county due to our location. We are located near Winchester, in the middle of one of the largest English natural spaces: South Downs National Park. The 700 square miles has been the perfect excuse for us to create this park that will take up in the air and will make you enjoy nature using our zip-lining and the wooden obstacles that we have set around the park. 

Our company is nestled in a very strategic place with excellent road connections: you only need to drive the B2177 road and you'll be reaching our headquarters in a few minutes. In addition., you can stay here if you please as we have incredible and well-equipped longes where you and your family are more than welcome. 

We've been working for 40 years now in Winchester and safety has been part of our DNI since day one. Because of that, our high ropes installations are under constant supervision and we control everything is ready before you come!

At the same time, Marwell Activity Center has received the We're good to go certification, which means that we follow the Covid rules and we are a safe place to go and have fun.

Archery is part of Marwell Activity Centre's DNI since the beginning. We've been working here, in Winchester, since 1982 and we know the best venues in the South Downs National Park to practice it. 

Part of our philosophy is to provide fun and easy experiences to everyone. Keeping that in mind, we have invested in the best equipment. For our archery sessions, you'll be using aluminum arrows, which are light and they even protect your own health (they won't damage your hands or your wrist while loading the bow!). 

To enjoy our activities, you have to come driving through Portsmouth Road. While here, did you know that you can spend the night, the weekend or your holidays in one of our luxury lodges? Yes, you have read right: we have a great resort waiting for you in the middle of this natural land that will take your breath away. We remain open all week long and our working hours are from 9.00 to 17.00 at the weekends and on Monday and until 15.00 the rest of the days. 

As part of our commitment to safety, our instructors take tough training and, as a company, we are members of Archery Great Britain, which is the national association that rules this sport and that oversees that the centers that provide it follow strict measures.

At Marwell Activity Centre, we have the best things to offer incredible clay pigeon shooting sessions. What are those? An amazing land as stage: the South Downs National Park, where its almost 700 square miles size is an excellent venue to practice this sport with comfort and without anyone in miles around. We are also a company that it's perfectly road-connected from the main towns and villages in Hampshire county. Basically, you have to take Portsmouth Road to get here.

The equipment that we used is the best that exists for beginners to more experienced shooters: 12 bore rifles. They are so light to use!

What else should you know about us? We have two main clay pigeon shooting: one that includes 30 clays and the other that offers 50 clays.  We've been certified by Hampshire County Council and, thanks to our 40 years of excellence, we have adapted to the changes that time brings. What does this mean? We have been recognized as a "We're Good to Go", an initiative by the UK Government where companies that follow and offer a safe environment during the current pandemic receive a certification.

We work every day of the week from 9.00 to 17.00 on Mondays and at the weekends, and from 9.00 to 15.00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thrusdays.

 At Marwell Activity Centre Quads, we believe in excellence and in fun and that's why our company has specialized its quads sessions for juniors.  They are purposely built this exciting course which gives you the opportunity to enjoy the thrills of off-roading in a controlled environment.

Instruction is provided by certified NGB staff so that you can enjoy your quadding session to the maximum! Great for anyone over 14, bring only parties, hen and stag groups and even corporate events for a good laugh and lots of adrenaline.

Quads is an activity that needs so much concentration and intuition. We provide the overalls and more. We made an atmosphere and a kind of trial to challenge you and your group!

Off-road is the must of these days. The participants realize how capable they are to drive in complicated routes and make some traverses and take control between the muddy quads. 

In addition, we are part of the European All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute, where our instructors get trained in the most strict safety measures and rules.
