Los Caballos de la Ribera is an equestrian center located in Huertas, Salamanca.
Our goal is to enjoy horses and, to this end, we offer different activities related to these animals: routes, classes and equestrian camps. All of this taught by our best professionals, horse lovers, and intended for all levels.
With or without experience (although those under 11 years old will have to have experience), you can participate in horseback riding routes of different durations (hour, half-day or full-day routes) along the Tormes River and its surroundings.
In addition, in summer we organize equestrian camps in summer for children from 8 years old. These are days that we take advantage of so that the young participants come into contact with the different areas related to the horse, including its care and needs. Of course, we also spend time riding them and learning horse riding at different levels.

Resumen Rutas a Caballo
Come and explore the Tormes River and its surroundings in another way with Los Caballos de la Ribera. The most natural way possible, on horseback. In addition, now our tours include an original picnic on one of the river islands with typical Castilian products.
Los Caballos de la Ribera aims to enjoy the horse. We are specialized in small groups, to offer you a quality route, both in its route and in the type of animal. We have all levels, both level 0 for those people who are going to experience a horse ride for the first time, and high level, for those who have experience and want to enjoy a good horse. We do the horse riding routes with children from 5 years old.
Our routes are from 1 hour and a half long:
- 50-minute route, special for families with children under 11 years old
- 1 hour and a half route, for ages 11 and up.
- 2 and a half hour route, which included a picnic on one of the islands we crossed on horseback.
Between the months of September and June the Center teaches riding classes, for ages 8 and up, and equestrian camps for children who are attracted to the world of horses. We also offer other activities such as birthdays, family parties, bachelor parties, etc... Go ahead and come enjoy with Los Caballos de la Ribera.
