Kingswood Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre

Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre has a great outdoor climbing wall for your school to use while you are staying at the centre. You are able to combine the climbing session with some Abseiling as well, to make a fun activity even more exciting!

After your students have learnt the basics of how to climb safely, they can start playing some fun climbing games, like seeing who can be the fastest to climb to the top, or work on their communication and listening skills by being blindfolded and guided by their classmates.

Climbing with Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre is a fun activity for all ages and skill levels.

Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre has a purpose built Abseiling wall for groups that would like to have a go of this sport. You can also choose to do some abseiling when you do the climbing activity as well. Abseiling is a great sport for people who are not confident, as it builds up your confidence in yourself, your abilities and helps you to realise that you can face all challenges that you come up against.  With your compatriots at the bottom cheering for you, you will find that abseiling with Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre is a great activity, and one that you will remember for a while after.

Hiking at Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre is hiking with a twist – as well as taking advantage of the great surroundings of the Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre, students can do more involved studies than just walking around the area.

If your group wants to do more than just explore the local forest, and learn about the plants and their historical uses as well as try and see the local wildlife, they can also do specially designed activities that were thought of to expose children to think more about the environment around them.

These hiking activities can be tailored to what you are currently learning about in the classroom, making them a great learning activity.

Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre has a great Archery range available for the use of the groups that are staying with them. The target ranges of Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre are able to be adjusted, meaning that all ages and skill levels can take part in this activity. Archery can be done in any weather, as there is an indoor range available as well. The great instructors at Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre are there to watch the students and help them improve their archery skills while making sure that they are having a fun time as well.  All the archery instructors at Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre are GNAS trained.

High Ropes are a great activity to promote bonding and communication skills in your students, and Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre have a great high ropes course, which is one of the best out of all Kingswoods 9 locations in the UK.

A great way to get the adrenaline pumping as well, high ropes at Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre are great for everyone to try out while they are staying at the centre, with  people who have no fear able to have loads of fun, while people who are maybe a bit hesitant at first will soon relax with the support of their classmates and the great instructors at Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre.

Driving quads is fun, and at Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre, students can experience this fun activity first hand. The students first learn how to steer properly, how to use the breaks and the acceleration pedals responsibly and more quad bike safety before being able to get to have a ride on the quads, and being able to drive.

The driving of the quads takes place on Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre purpose built quad track, and when it rains, this activity is even more fun, with loads of puddles to drive through! All safety equipment needed is given to the participants by Kingswood  Dukeshouse Wood Activity Centre.
