Company Overview
We welcome you to Gaubea, a wonderful place to come and enjoy a horseback riding route. We are located in the Valdegovia-Valderejo area, a privileged area, where horseback riding becomes a real gift.
Experience is no problem. With Gaubea, you can ride a horse whether you are a beginner, an amateur or an expert, since we have animals for every level.
We have a wide variety of routes, which we group into three large groups:
- Routes around the center: especially designed for people who do not have any experience with horses. It is a quiet walk of between one and two hours, through pine and oak forests, either to the Torre de Varona, or to the town of Tuesta.
- Routes in the Valderejo Park: here we can visit such spectacular areas as the Purón River gorge, among others. The perfect option if you are interested in getting to know the incredible vegetation and orography of the area, as well as the local fauna.
- Routes in Valdegovía: they are the most complete routes, designed so that you can get to know the most emblematic places, and of high cultural interest. They can be from two hours to routes lasting several days. You choose yours!
For the youngest we organize equestrian camps, so they can enjoy a holiday surrounded by nature.

The Gaubea equestrian center offers horseback riding through some of the most beautiful places in the Valderejo and Valdegovía parks. We have more than 20 horses to organize routes and excursions where you will be in permanent contact with nature.
Regardless of whether you have previous experience or not, we adjust to the level of the group to offer an experience that is difficult to forget.
The routes are guided by expert horse riding monitors and instructors, who will help you enjoy this magnificent activity.
We offer several options:
- Route for beginners around the center. We start from the basis of a slight knowledge of the mount, so that the excursion is more comfortable for you.
- Route in the Valderejo park, you will discover incredible places such as the Purón river gorge.
- Routes in Valdegovía, where you will visit emblematic places of high cultural interest.
Riding a horse through nature is the ideal way to break with the daily routine, come with us and spend a different day in the company of our horses.
Summary Horse Riding Camps
The best way for children and teenagers to learn to ride horses is to be constantly exposed to the sport. For this reason, Gaubea offers one equestrian camps at Easter and in the summer so that the children can internalize all the learning.
In one of the most beautiful places in Euskadi, the children will have at their disposal modern and top-quality facilities where they can practice horse riding and learn all the techniques and methods to perfect the sport. In addition, the facilities offer children comfort, security and a rustic and homely atmosphere.
During their stay, the kids will have constant supervision from highly experienced instructors who will ensure their safety and fun. They will also have instructors with many years of experience at their disposal who will help them perfect their skills and surpass their level.
The center guarantees fun and adventurous learning. Additionally, during their stay, the kids will be able to meet more people with their interests and form friendships with other kids.
