Escuela de Esquí Leitariegos

The Leitariegos Ski School Ski was created almost 30 years ago, in 1986. It immediately established itself as one of the schools in this Asturian resort, largely due to the quality of its human team and its philosophy based on giving students a sufficient level of skiing so that they can later practice on their own, feeling comfortable and safe on the slopes.

Currently they offer all types of ski courses, both for those who want to take private lessons with a teacher and those who want to join a group of skiers of a similar age and level to theirs. Everyone can give ski lessons regardless of their level, and this is precisely the main objective of the school.

On the other hand, the Leitariegos station is a small ski resort that is located halfway between León and Oviedo, less than an hour and a half by car from both cities. It has 7 marked and skiable kilometers divided into 10 slopes: a green slope, 4 blue slopes and 5 red slopes. The small size of Leitariegos makes this resort very welcoming and familiar, compared to other large resorts that can even intimidate novice skiers.

The Leitariegos Snowboard Ski School has been operating in the Asturian ski resort of Leitariegos for almost 30 years, since it was founded in 1986. Since then, thousands of students attracted by its philosophy of teaching, based on the idea that everyone can snowboard if they learn the correct techniques with trained and professional teachers.

In this way, they have several options from which you can choose:

- Private classes: These classes are for one or more students who book them all together and are normally groups of friends or siblings. The monitor is with the students all the time, pending their evolution and progression.

- Group classes: Group classes are also for groups, but unlike private classes, the schedule is already pre-established by the school. Groups of different levels are set up and the student joins the one that best suits his or her level and experience.
- Individual courses: unlike classes, the courses have a more specific program that is structured in an attempt to cover different aspects in a progressive way, in such a way that at the end of the course the student reaches a series of objectives that have been previously established.

- Weekend courses: They are the same as individual courses, but they are developed with a more intensive schedule since they are reduced to two days of the weekend.
