At eQuaid you will surely have for the first time the opportunity to see the facilities where research on mare's milk is carried out for medical purposes. We offer many other services thanks to our eQuillet Equestrian Club with its own livestock and more than fifty horses.
Our center is prepared for all types of visitors: young people who want horseback adventures, children who want to start riding or those who want to give horse riding lessons .
In the recreational area we organize pony or horseback excursions depending on the size of the participant. We serve adults or families with children who want to visit an equestrian center with spectacular rides next to the Fluvia River with a pony, on horseback or in an equine-drawn carriage enjoying the surroundings, alone, as a couple or in a group. group.
Our equestrian facilities have everything you need to spend a full day of adventure. The paths that we have marked through the estate will make you discover the charm of Garrotxa.
We have a playground with zip line, trampoline, swings, active games, archery, golf, etc.
Upon reservation, we can offer you breakfast, lunch or dinner and at any time you can enjoy our lounges or rooms to have a soft drink or aperitif.
Summary Horseback Riding
At eQuillet Club Hipic, when we tell you that we have the widest range of animals so that all ages can come into contact with horse riding, it is because we are convinced of it. /p>
Our large complex with a mare's milk farm and children's playground is open to those who wish to ride horses regardless of their age. This way the whole family is welcome, it's just a matter of choosing the right frame for each member:
- Adults: you will be able to use any of our horses on which you will ride to see part of the Garrotxa region that surrounds our facilities. For 1 or 2 hours, you can ride through the Vall de Bas on one of our horses and enjoy some dreamlike landscapes.
- Children: from the age of 3 they can take their ride on the Shetland ponies, the smallest ponies we have. As they grow, the height of the species in which they will make their route increases. For example, up to 10 years old we will lend them the Welsh and up to 12 we will lend them the Haflinger variety horses. Nothing like a pony to introduce your little one to the equestrian world, they will surely love it!
All together you will be able to share horse-drawn carriage rides that do not require any type of control or experience with the animals. You can also register as a member of the Equestrian Club to ride once a month, give weekly riding lessons or ride when you have free time.
Summary Horse Riding Camps
At the eQuillet Equestrian Club we use the size of our complex in La Garrotxa to organize equestrian camps in which students can spend the entire day and stay overnight after completing activities each day. .
The minimum duration of these programs is one or two nights, others being enabled for the entire week, from Monday to the following Friday. During daytime hours we will focus especially on horse riding, understood in the different levels that students can present. We can help them get started or develop in specific disciplines within horse riding.
We spent the nights in tents for groups, with up to 5 participants each. However, for basic cleaning and food services we will use the classrooms and rooms of our own Masía.
Given the variety of horses we have, we can customize the classes with the horses to the different age groups of the students. The little ones, who are between 3 and 8 years old, will ride Shetland ponies. From 8 to 10 years old, those that belong to the Welsh species are more suitable, while the Haflinger are for those between 10 and 12 years old. The horses are intended for the use of adults.
