Dovey Valley Shooting Ground

Dovey Valley Shooting Ground is a target sports centre set in a wooded valley in the unspoilt landscape of North Wales, close to the border between Powys and Gwynedd. We are proud to be one of the top clay pigeon shooting venues in this part of the country, and we also offer archery activities.

Our site boasts a sporting layout with over 100 different stands and sporting targets of all kinds. In this way, we can cater to shooters of all abilities, from absolute beginners to professional level shots. On top of that, we offer down-the-line, skeet and automatic ball trap shooting, as well as putting on simulated game days which are the stuff of legend.

We understand that trying a new sport can be daunting, but you needn’t worry when you make the trip to Dovey Valley. You’ll be welcomed by our friendly team and introduced to the sport by our professional instructors. All the equipment is included in both clay shooting and archery activities.

We are particularly adept at hosting groups, whether small families or large corporate parties. Once again, it doesn’t matter if the group includes novices, we will get everyone shooting together and enjoying these traditional countryside pursuits.
