Company Overview
At Club Hipic Son Reus we are a riding school that is located a few minutes from Palma so you can access our property comfortably whenever you are looking for a service related to this scope.
It is made up of a complete technical team consisting of 3 horse riding technicians, 2 psychologists to develop horse-assisted therapies and pedagogical training plans, 1 social integration technician and 2 veterinarians specialized in animal welfare. .
We have a team of 6 ponies and 22 horses in large facilities where our horses spend most of their time in semi-freedom.
We offer group and individual riding classes and therapies from Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in winter and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in summer. These adapt to the level of riders and horsewomen from the most basic level.
During holiday periods we hold camps (at Christmas, Easter and Summer) with a schedule from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with food included and several workshops in which the different aspects of education are worked on. horse riding.
Summary Horseback Riding
At the Club Hipic Son Reus we offer you magnificent horseback riding excursions very close to Palma. On these outings we get to know the natural environment of this part of the island composed of a beautiful contrast between the forest and the beach.
The horseback riding routes that we program require advance reservation of the participants and are always done in small groups of at least 2 riders and can reach a maximum of 8 people. They are routes with a minimum duration of 90 minutes that we can extend according to the experience of the participants' equipment.
We also train students in the areas of:
- Contact with ponies: at the Baby School Pony we serve children between 3 and 5 years old with detailed monitoring by our educators.
- Riding for everyone: from the age of 5 and without age limit we teach the skills that form the basis of this sport.
- Vaulting, dressage and show jumping: we are an official school in all modalities and disciplines, reinforcing and expanding the student's knowledge in each specialty. We remain attentive to the shortcomings and strengths of each rider and horsewoman.
Summary Horse Riding Camps
At Son Reus we believe that school vacation periods are best spent on horseback and with the aim that children participate in this idea we organize camps when they do not have to go to class. Therefore our available dates coincide with Christmas, Easter and the summer months.
In general we maintain a schedule of 9 a.m. with student pick-up at 4 p.m. However, you can additionally hire a daycare service for those parents who need to leave their children at 8 a.m. We follow a program like this:
- Riding and vaulting classes: with content that is always adapted to the age and profile of each of the participants.
- Pony Games: fun tests that we will do with the smaller horses in our facilities.
- Theory and practice of pony care as well as its management, always respecting the well-being of the animals.
We include lunch at noon but those children who wish can bring something to eat to eat mid-morning. The activities are coordinated by a pedagogical team with specific preparation.
