Essential information:

• You must have a BCU 1 Star qualification to take part in an off-site canoeing adventure
• We provide canoeing sessions from April to October
• You must have 11 years old+

Welcome to Auchengillan Outdoor Centre Hiking!

We are located in Central Scotland, and our picturesque setting is ideal for hill walking. We offer multi-activity day walks, which are suitable for many youth organisations such as Cubs, Scouts and schools. The walk includes lots of fun activities and games on route. Unfortunately, we do not offer activities to individuals or members of the public.

We also arrange challenging hikes for those who would like to improve their navigational skills.

Suitable clothing and footwear are recommended as well as waterproofs.

Welcome to Auchengillan Outdoor Centre Climbing! We are a large outdoor activity provider in Scotland.

We offer both on and off-site climbing at our centre to Scout groups, Guides, youth organisations and schools only. We do not offer lessons or sessions to individuals or members of the public. On-site we have a 15m high purpose built climbing tower, which offers a variety of climbing routes to complete. The wall caters for all abilities and up to 3 groups at any one time.

If you are looking for a ´real rock´ experience we offer climbing sessions at Cragmore, which is a 20 minute walk from our site.

Rock climbing is a genuine challenge, yet our expert climbing instructors will be on-hand to show you the ropes and ensure your safety.

Welcome to Auchengillan Outdoor Centre Mountain Biking! Wen offer sessions to Scout groups, Guides, youth and community organisations and schools. Unfortunately, we do not offer activities to individuals or members of the public.

Enjoy the spectacular views as you travel around Auchengillan on your bike. We cover road, wood and forest tracks. There is plenty to see including:

• Lochs
• Castle ruins
• Wildlife

And lots more!

Our excursions can be adapted to suit all ages and abilities. We offer a great introduction to mountain biking for novices, with some technical options for the more experienced cyclist.

All we ask of you is to wear appropriate clothing and footwear on the day.

Welcome to Auchengillan Outdoor Centre Abseiling! We offer a range of activities and accommodation to recognised youth organisations only, we are not open to individuals.

On-site we have a purpose built climbing tower, which is one of the highest in the U.K. It offers two-tier abseils for dare devils and novices alike.

You must be part of a recognised youth organisation in order to take part and the maximum number of people per group is 8.

Off-site abseiling takes place at Cragmore, which is a 20 minute walk from our centre. If you are looking for a ´real rock´ experience, it is much more demanding than our climbing tower.
