Company Overview

A summer of great experience and learning is possible thanks to all the camps that we organize from the Albergue Valle de los Abedules, giving the opportunity to a lot of boys and girls to spend several days with friends having a great time .

We are in Madrid, in the Sierra Norte, in the town of Bustarviejo. Our hostel is located there, in a completely natural environment, becoming a privileged place for activities in nature. Up to 96 people can accommodate in the main lodge and another 70 people in our wooden cabins.

To give users the ability to decide what their summer will be like, there is the possibility of signing up for the camp in full Spanish or with its bilingual option, in which children will learn English in a playful and fun way. There are several shifts to choose from throughout July and August, from a week to an entire month.

Among the activities that will be carried out, the objective is for them to discover activities that they cannot carry out in their daily lives, several of a multi-adventure nature: such as zip line descent, high altitude circuit, climbing, archery... . , activities related to animals such as falconry where you can learn about birds of prey, horseback riding, visits to the small farm...

It is also time to enjoy the water in our pool or with canoeing and paddle surfing, in addition to many more personal development activities, such as emotional intelligence, and artistic development through the making of totems or creative painting. Summary English Camps

At Albergue del Valle de los Abedules English Camps we organizebilingual summer camps for children from 6 to 15 years old.

In our English camps we combine learning, leisure, creativity and nature.

They are camps of one or several weeks in the Sierra Norte of Madrid that combine English classes with recreational activities. We organize these camps in July and August.

The main activities that we carry out are:

- Multi-adventure activities taking advantage of our location, located directly in a natural environment that we can try from horseback riding to canoeing, paddle surfing or zip lines.

- Contact with the farm: we will experience the daily life of our animals, we will take care of them and we will learn to feed them.

- Options for the personal development of the participants, with attention to working on their emotional intelligence.

We also do evenings and nighttime entertainment.

The teachers are native speakers or qualified in language teaching. For each class we accept a maximum of 12 students. We adapt the programs by age groups and levels.

Accommodation takes place in our Los Abedules rural complex.

Summary Multi Adventure Camps

At Albergue del Valle de los Abedules Multi-adventure Camps we organize multi-adventure camps for summer and Easter in the Sierra Norte of Madrid. We are aimed at schoolchildren between 6 and 15 years old, although we will work with them by age groups to adapt to their learning needs at all times.

The objectives of these camps are for children to acquire autonomy when carrying out day-to-day tasks, to acquire responsibilities, to encourage the practice of sports, to develop their physical and intellectual skills, to teach them to value the environment and encourage respect for it, integrate and facilitate social relationships or transmit healthy lifestyle habits.

There are programs that can be contracted for one or more weeks, with the option of incorporating English in each of the days.

Every day a lot of activities await us that will begin around 10 a.m., after having breakfast and getting clean, and will end at 11:30 p.m., time to go to bed.

The accommodation will take place at the Albergue del Valle de los Abedules, right in the Guadarrama National Park, a natural environment in which we do not sacrifice the needs of the children since we have everything from rooms with bunk beds to our own infirmary.

Summary Soccer Camps

At the Valle de Los Abedules Hostel all students between the ages of 6 and 15 who have soccer as their favorite sport have their ideal summer.

You will be in the Sierra de Guadarrama, very close to Madrid capital and in a space that exceeds 25 thousand m2. The entire program that we tell you below is the result of what we have experienced over the last 15 years, which is why we trust that each edition will be perfect. Our football campus in Bustarviejo:

- Dedicate 3 hours every day to the technicalization of this sport. Each coach is a specialist in the training of new players and knows how to extract the best from each one of them specifically and from everyone as a team in general.

- Accommodation is provided both in rooms in a common building and in wooden cabins with fewer places. The participants are always grouped by sharing their age and whether they are boys or girls.

- Football is completed with free time in which to enjoy all the facilities, such as the swimming pool, and other sports that have in common that they are practiced in nature. This is the case of horseback riding without difficulty, time in the pool or excursions in the center's canoes.

Summary Surfing Camps

Surfing is one of the main disciplines that fall within our complete nautical camp with the guarantees of the Albergue del Valle de los Abedules.

In order to try this type of sports that are directly related to the sea, we will go to Oliva Beach, in the Valencian Community. We accept registrations from boys and girls who are between 10 and 17 years old.

- The students will remain in the facilities of the San José de la Montaña School. The great advantage of this center, in addition to the comfort of its rooms and auxiliary areas, is that it is only a quarter of an hour from the yacht club where we will do the activities, right on the beach.

- Participants will be able to leave directly from Madrid, meeting us outside the Santiago Bernabéu. They will be able to choose between shifts of 8 or 15 days in the month of July and in the first half of August.

- We also classify our camps as bilingual since we will have 3 intense hours a day dedicated to the English language, after which the rest of the activities will take place.

In addition to sports, it will be important for parents to know that we develop other important skills for children through the work of emotional intelligence.

How to get there?

Abedules Valley Hostel. Highway from Miraflores de la Sierra to Bustarviejo M-610, Km. 15 28720 Bustarviejo-Madrid By private transport or coach: From Madrid, we recommend accessing the M-607 (Colmenar Viejo), and then taking the M-609 in the direction of Soto del Real and Miraflores de la Sierra. From this last municipality, the M-610 is the road that runs through the Valley in the direction of Bustarviejo. Before reaching this municipality (Bustarviejo), we pass the campsite, just one km later at km. 15 there is a detour to the right that gives access to a 500 m dirt road. until you reach the hostel. There are no problems for coach access. *.How to get there from Bustarviejo: From Bustarviejo go towards Miraflores on the M-610 that runs through the Bustarviejo Valley. After 5 km, turn around at the campsite and return 1km towards Bustarviejo to be able to catch the km. 15 a detour to the right that gives access to a 500 m dirt road. until you reach the hostel. By public transport (not adapted): Plaza de Castilla Interchange - bus no. 725 (Level 3, Island 2, Dock 28) - bus no. 725, from the Colmenarejo company, leaves every hour (Phone: 91.845.00.51). The closest stop is the Bustarviejo campsite, approximately one kilometer from the hostel. We have a van to pick up people who need it.
