Campamento Militar El Gran Capitán

Camp Gran Capitán is a civic-military program for participants between 11 and 21 years old that takes place in Navacerrada. Through it we aim for boys and girls to have their first contact with the routines followed by both the Armed Forces and other security forces. They will learn some of their main tasks with special attention to physical training and working on their personal abilities.

Those registered will be lodged in a property with all the necessary interior equipment and large exteriors with a swimming pool for the development of the activities. They will rest every night in the bunk beds in their rooms, they will be able to wash in their showers differentiated by sex and use the collective facilities to eat or participate in the workshops that will be organized.

In addition to the full board accommodation, with the corresponding insurance for the stay, we will deliver the clothes that will make up the camper's daily wardrobe so that they follow the uniformity of the program. When this is over you can take it home in your suitcase.

The shifts that are available are:

-One week: from July 18 to 24 or from July 25 to 31.
-15 days: from August 1 to 15.
-Three weeks: from July 25 to August 15.

Among the activities that attendees will share in the military camp are:

- First aid lessons with a practical part. The quality of the knowledge taught is such that the kids will be able to obtain a diploma recognizing what they have learned.

- Education in accordance with military and civic values encouraging appropriate behavior individually and with respect to other colleagues.

- Practical learning of survival techniques, how to patrol or march outdoors taking advantage of the environment.

Additionally, during the camp we will receive various veterans who will enrich the programming with their wisdom.
