La Granzetta

The La Granzetta equestrian center is located in Vetan in the province of Aosta, at approximately 1800 meters above sea level and immersed in the uncontaminated nature of Valle d'Aosta.

La Granzetta was born from its founders' love for the mountains and horses and sees the aim of bringing people closer to a form of eco-sustainable tourism at the basis of its work.

Our center has 12 horses that can be ridden American or English style and we offer various itineraries of different durations and difficulties, trekking of one or more days and tailor-made itineraries depending on the preparation and experience of the participants. Our equestrian guides evaluate each individual's competence in the round before going out for a walk; we recommend that beginners do a few hours on the flat before rushing into challenging treks lasting several hours. In winter, wonderful walks in the snow are also organised!

By carrying out walks and trekking on horseback you will be able to admire breathtaking landscapes in the valleys of Cogne, Rhemes, Valsavarenche and Valgrisenche. You will also have the opportunity to visit alpine pastures, participate in the making of fontina and taste typical Aosta Valley products.
