We will start from the Vetan riding stables to head towards San Nicolas, a typical Aosta Valley village, surrounded by immense prairies and majestic mountains with a spectacular view of the valley and its mountains. 

During the horseback riding route we will visit the hamlet of Rumiod in the municipality of Saint-Pierre to end our horseback riding experience at the Vetan riding stables from which we started.

Wear comfortable clothing for the saddle and leave the stress and worries at home to make the most of your day, we will take care of the rest, putting at your disposal all the equipment necessary for the impeccable success of this 1-hour horseback excursion.

A horseback ride at Vetan is an excellent alternative for expert riders who want to spend 2 hours riding among the enchanting landscapes of the Aosta Valley. It is the right opportunity to learn more about the small local villages and, moreover, you have the opportunity to visit a local bakery and watch the bread being prepared.

During the route you will be accompanied by our expert equestrian guides who, in maximum safety, will take you to discover the villages of Vetan, San Nicolas and Rumiod. Each of these three villages will be able to convey different and contrasting emotions to you, all very positive. You will come across majestic sceneries; enjoy the view of the valley that San Nicolas offers you and the typical mountain huts of Vetan. In Rumiod you will stop at a cereal farm and watch the preparation of fresh bread. Furthermore, we offer you a small taste of the products of the Aosta Valley area, including the bread that you will have prepared previously, a small tasting offered by the bakery. 

The route is reserved for riders expert in the three gaits; Even children over the age of 7 can carry out the activity, the important thing is that they have prior experience on horseback. All this because the route may involve differences in level and could be difficult in some points, which is why horseback riding is not suitable for beginners.

We will provide you with the necessary equipment for the horseback ride, we just ask you to wear clothing appropriate for the current season. During the winter, the trek will be done in the snow and the landscapes will leave you speechless!
