Welcome to Hípica Yeguada Zurcan, our horse sanctuary located in the Girona town of Castelló d'Empúries. Here you will find a team of passionate professionals and experts in the equestrian world who are characterized by their exceptional treatment of both clients and animals.
Our equestrian center has very well-kept and clean facilities in which our horses live. You can come and meet us and do some of the activities we offer, from introductory classes to equestrian routes.
If you are looking for a horseback riding route, you have come to the perfect place. We will adapt to your level, regardless of whether you are already an established rider or a beginner eager to learn. We have different types of routes, based on the duration, the route and the level of the participants.
If we see that you can handle yourself on horseback, we can take the beautiful route to the beach to enjoy a magical sunset. Come meet our horses and our team of instructors, you will go home wanting to return.

A wonderful experience! The walk is through a beautiful area, reaching the beach of La Rubina. It was almost my first time that I was riding a horse and, although I was nervous, the equestrian staff was lovely: they taught me patiently and made me feel comfortable from the first moment.
The owner, who also guided us on the ride, was a real charm, always pending of us and making us super pleasant. The route itself is beautiful: the environment, the beach, the views ... everything makes the walk even more special.
We will undoubtedly repeat, both to make classes and to sign up for more routes and continue living experiences on horseback. Highly recommended.

It was a nice ride through the nature reserve. We rode along a sandy path next to the beach. Despite the linguistic difficulties, it worked out well. And even as a strange dog, the horses went calm and the guide has solved the problem well. Unfortunately, for this reason we could not gallop what my big daughter (13) would have liked to do. The guide also took into account the younger daughter (9). But we were allowed through the water on the river bank.
