If you have already ridden a horse before, we have an activity that will be impossible for you to ignore: a horseback riding route along the beach! Yes, we know how idyllic that plan sounds, that's why we want to propose a walk from our equestrian center in Castelló d'Empúries to the nearby beach.
Get ready for 2 hours of equestrian experience on the back of one of our noble horses. Furthermore, in order for this route to be as personalized and close as possible, the maximum will be 5 people. This way, the instructor will be able to pay close attention to each of the riders.
After an hour of walking, we will arrive at La Rubina Beach, also known as "the wild beach" and belonging to the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park. The privilege of this beach is that it lacks nearby buildings, thus preserving it from the urban exploitation so common on neighboring beaches.
Due to the length and complexity of the route, it is recommended that this is not your first time riding a horse. After visiting the beach, we will return to our facilities to end a magical experience. We are sure that you will want to repeat!

A wonderful experience! The walk is through a beautiful area, reaching the beach of La Rubina. It was almost my first time that I was riding a horse and, although I was nervous, the equestrian staff was lovely: they taught me patiently and made me feel comfortable from the first moment.
The owner, who also guided us on the ride, was a real charm, always pending of us and making us super pleasant. The route itself is beautiful: the environment, the beach, the views ... everything makes the walk even more special.
We will undoubtedly repeat, both to make classes and to sign up for more routes and continue living experiences on horseback. Highly recommended.

It was a nice ride through the nature reserve. We rode along a sandy path next to the beach. Despite the linguistic difficulties, it worked out well. And even as a strange dog, the horses went calm and the guide has solved the problem well. Unfortunately, for this reason we could not gallop what my big daughter (13) would have liked to do.
