Welcome to Gwydyr Stables and Riding Centre!

We offer a wonderful location for horse riding, pony trekking or extended day trail rides, just 4 miles from Betws y Coed and surrounded by National Trust and Forestry Commission land. Here you will find breathtaking scenery and excellent views of the Snowdonia Mountains.

We welcome both individuals and groups, and all abilities, from complete novices to experienced riders. We can cater for everyone with our team of experienced staff and a choice of over 30 horses that range in size and ability.

Safety is paramount and all of our staff are trained in safety issues including first aid and riding qualifications, and during treks, we maintain radio with the centre.

We offer a range of different rides throughout the year, from half an hour to full day. You can enjoy a beautiful summer evening with one of our rides, or come and try our popular pub ride. We also have available two or three-day trail rides around the area.

Rates include hat hire, and we can offer group rates available for 8 or more, ask for details.
